I have had a few 520 errors today, so wondered if someone might have been making changes on site.

I've been wondering about that too, the site has been kind of laggy and error-ridden pretty much since yesterday. I guess some of it might be due to putting things in place for the event.

Hopefully it is just site adjustments and not more technology grumblings. It's been much better recently.

Spent Friday and yesterday at my parents' house (still here but I can actually get online now lol) and I miss so much.

I can never have enough monies especially now that most of the quests have been nerfed (still bitter about that. I'm waiting for the staff to fix the damn problem and give me my items back so I can make sp before Luminaire)... but Blake is awesome. And I don't mind extra work. And he was the inspiration for team shark... Hrm

To be fair, your HA is pretty much adventure suitable and Keelhauliday friendly, so that does work.

Won't get much spelunking done in my current ensemble! :) Still might take a shark theme item with me, though.

Morostide is always a favourite. Can't wait for that.

Of course we still don't know for sure, but now I could see it going in a few different ways! /still probably will be Team Blake though...

Well the site went down for me on Friday night just as I was starting my dailies. After nearly an hour I gave up and went to bed so had to do everything the next day. I hope that's only because they were starting to make changes or something. I would like to see the old Blake back. The new one looks kinda goofy. Oh and too bad Jack Cardale isn't involved. He hasn't been in anything in ages.

oooh... I think I like competition but at the same time, maybe just different teams with different goals working together is better.... I do like it when everyone who puts in time and energy to complete things gets the rewards.

I mean, I could see there being some disagreement on how exactly to go about things. Saggi strikes me as being kind of greedy and wanting to take everything for himself, while Blake might be more respectful in trying to preserve the ancient artifacts. And then there's the matter of the volcano and whatever will happen with that...

It could be a combination of working together but not completely trusting the other side, and who knows what else. Gah, I want the news post already! D:

Alright I got used to the new Blake. I really like the revamp now. The awkward smile fits him well.

I wonder if the volcano threat will be the incentive for completing the tasks before it blows up and destroys whatever we were working in/on or if it will start the plot by revealing something, like a cave or caverns below. (I still don't like the goofy Blake :( )

[personal grump ] And whilst I like 'everyone who helps gets x' in events, there should be an achieveable minimum help amount. I don't want to exclude people who have a lot to do in real life, but doing 1 of something is not in the spirit of things.

I kind of like the new Blake design, as his subetapedia entry always called him 'socially awkward' and the previous design looked way too self assured, in my opinion. Different art styles too, I guess!

Would love to see other NPCs getting involved too, new or old!

Yeah, Tempest can be very random sometimes - I think I got one last month and this, but nothing much for a good while before then. The backgrounds are really nice.

Speaking of backgrounds, I do like that ghost pirate look.

Okay, Saggi's pitch is way more intriguing. Blake: hard labor, dangerous encounters, compensation limited Saggi: clear overgrowth, explore/secure ancient ruins, maintaining/hauling supplies, competitive compensation

WHY is Saggi's pitch so much more compelling? (Still probably going to go Team Blake, but Saggi did a damn good recruiting job :P)
