It's been on local news all day here, but I wouldn't be surprised if it made national news again. Houston is notorious for its flooding problems, I know the Memorial Day flooding from last year got national coverage. They're saying this is about as bad as that. And we're supposed to get more rain overnight and tomorrow...

my sister lived in between austin and san antonio last year when they got a lot of flooding too.

Yeah, last year it was multiple places around Texas that got it pretty bad, like Dallas too I think. Today it seemed like it was mostly just the Houston area, although other parts of the state have been getting storms and hail and stuff this past week.

Yeah that was Dallas I think. We got some hail here too the other day, but it wasn't that big and it didn't last very long.

I've never seen hail that big myself, not in person. But yes, it would be scary and I have seen plenty of pictures of smashed up cars from people who live in that area.

We had a freak storm in CT a few years back with golfball sized hail and that did enough damage! Broke my side view mirror and pitted my car up pretty decently. I can't imagine how bad softball sized hail would have been. That's huge!

I saw broken windshields and dented hoods of cars, also at least one home that actually got a hole in the roof from the hail. Texas spring storms are no joke.

yeah could be t1/t2 weapons, first person may have the wrong weapon and it could be weapons with a pet color in them... who knows.

Hope the weather has calmed down for you. Freak weather does seem to be getting more common, at the start of the month we had 1cm sized hail stones here! Thankfully not car destroying sized but it was a weird one.
