The new items are pretty nice! I like the art, and I like the backdrops! Even though I don't really have a use for them right now, they're all really pretty. :)

I think a good portion of the wigs are going to be my top go-to's for a while - nothing else takes my fancy though.


edit: at what point does the amount of items on a HA get ridiculous? I'm wearing 21 right now.

Oh wow! I think I'm wearing like 8 items. :P

With all the layers though, I guess it's easy for things to add up.

I finally made up my mind about how I want my pet, I've already got the species and color that I want. Now I'm just waiting for a name to become available hopefully in a few months.

I'm keeping him as a Nuclear Keeto now. I've still got about 4 months to wait for the account to become inactive, so yeah I'm hoping they don't come back suddenly before then. That is pretty close though, sorry it didn't work out. D:

It's really cool. Kind of obnoxious because you have to hold really still while they shine this really bright light into your eye for like a minute, but at the end you get this cool amber circle photo with all the blood vessels visible on it. It's how they check for eye cancer etc.

But yeah, maybe you were so traumatized by the air puff you blocked everything else out (or haven't had the test, I've had it only once)

That's where I had it, Old Spaghetti Factory, and it was DELICIOUS and I could have eaten like three plates of it if I could have. I don't know what evil magic they do with the cheese and the browned butter, but that stuff is like crack.

Every once in a while, I go for a nice big burger, but I definitely don't seek out steak or anything. Maybe part of is also because I have no palate and can't tell the difference between cuts so I don't care if I have rib roast or flank steak or whatever.

I think I've had that eye test done once before, or at least I've seen the sample pictures for it in the doctor's office so I know what you're talking about.

Lol I'm king of the same though, I feel like I still have a lot of the taste buds of a kid or something. I like more stuff now than I did when I was little, but I don't always taste the difference between things that are considered "good quality" and what is the cheaper less good thing. If I could go without eating, that wouldn't be so bad either. :P

I hate waiting too, but really the worst part is not knowing for sure if you will even be able to get it. The person could come back just before the account goes inactive and then you're out of luck. I'm hoping that won't happen with the name I'm keeping an eye on, since it looks like the account hasn't been touched since the day it was created, but you never know. D:

I know the feeling! I have preferences, definitely - sushi and I will never be friends, and I do like some things over others, but I just can't work up the enthusiasm for gourmet food. I mean, I like it when I get it, but I'm not going to seek out the super expensive restaurants because of their super duper amazing chicken crudite or whatever. Regular chicken's fine with me. I can also eat pretty much the same three things all week, where I have a coworker who can barely bring herself to touch leftovers because she gets bored with food really easily. I'm glad I do not have that problem.

Haha, me too! It's another reason I hate cooking, cooking for one seems like such a useless waste of effort and time. My slow cooker is the most amazing thing ever in the whole world, I love it. It's making three bean veg chili for me right now and I am very happy about that.

That's my worst fear. I hate sitting around hoping and then bam, the day before it's supposed to clear they log back in. I guess we'll see. In the past, I got ninja'd out of a pet name during a clearing, but ten months later the name wasn't even on Subeta because they'd already changed the name. So if I have to I will keep waiting.

Yes! I'm pretty much the same way, I'll appreciate good food if it's given to me. But I can definitely eat the same thing over and over a few times before getting tired of it. Also sushi, it's one of those things that I actually want to like, but there's just something about it I haven't been able to get over. And it is hard to cook for just yourself, unless you don't mind having leftovers for a day or two.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt to keep it on your radar even if it doesn't work out at first. Some people get bored with names easily, I know I've changed my pet's name a few times because I couldn't settle on something. I don't even know if my current decision will last, but I like it so far and I've got the theme going already. All I need is the name. xD

I've still got almost 4 months to wait though, so we'll see how it goes. Good luck with yours!

For me, it's the texture. I just don't like raw fish. Plus I can't help but think about spoilage, parasites, etc etc etc I'd much just rather have a nummy cucumber roll.

Cooking for one is just messy. All the silverware, knives, pots, pans, washing up, and then you have to do it all over again the next day. Just ugh. I'd eat out more often if I could afford it. I know, right? I actually like making a lot at once, I only have to cook one day a week and then just eat the fruits of my labor for the rest of it! Win win!

That's so true. I'm glad I kept the one name on my radar because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have it now and someone else would probably have it as I've been asked about it before. The one I'm stalking now I took time to consider whether I wanted it, and by the time I decided yes it had been grabbed. So this is try two. xD

Having a theme already is super! I kind of regret having some nice pets and so few profiles for them. I keep telling myself I'll learn to code but that hasn't happened yet.

Yeah, it makes more sense to just cook a decent amount of one or two things that will last you a good while so you're not having to do so much work all the time.

Ah, well good luck! Since it's kind of expensive for a name change, it makes sense to want to be sure first. But if it's a good name there probably are other people after it, so you have to choose quickly too. And by theme I meant more like just how the pet color, minion, and pet name will all go together but I suppose I could try to come up with a profile or find someone to make one for me. I dunno, that's not as much of a priority right now.

It is kind of long, I had to make a note to myself so I don't forget about it between now and then. Hopefully it goes by quickly.
