And I just realized something interesting and I wonder if you've ever come across this issue before yourself with CW descriptions. I know that we can't have the same name as something on site already but I was a bit confused when I read a newer item sharing almost word for word a description I had used most recently. Not sure if that's a no go when it's not your item or if descriptions don't matter.

For the record I'm not upset by it just a bit confused as to how a description could be used more than once if it's not from the same user.

I dont know. I don't think they look closely at descriptions. Beyond the fact that if you are quoting something directly. Like if you say "To be or not to be, that is the question." You have to make sure to use quotes showing that it isn't an original thought. I have checked from time to time to make sure I am not describing something the same way as on site already tho so that doesn't happen. BUT I don't think they notice.

yeah, I figured as much after I did a search to see if I was missing anything. Just a little too weird for me personally though as I always look on the lodge to see if someone else has had the same idea for a description. And while mine was not directly taken word for word theirs was pretty much, lol. It is a lovely item though, I give them that much because I WL it without even thinking when I saw it. Only reason I noticed the description was due to the fact I was moving stuff around and deciding if I wanted to keep things on my WL.

Mine was released almost a month ago, I'm not correct on the exact date because it took me almost all 10 trys to get the ring on site. So not sure if the person liked the description and just went with it or if it was just a coincidence. Either way it is interesting all around. Good thing the description wasn't personal or else I'd be hella ticked.

Yea odds are they looked up quotes about roses and liked it.
Yea if someone did something that was original to me I would be hella pissed. I would probably at that point contact subeta and be like "Look there is no way this person searched this on line because I wrote it myself." Other then that, people have at it. I have been using lots of quotes that exist. Like the one for my jacket I am releasing now is just a rewrite of a quote said by someone.

yep pretty much though it is odd and I don't know of anyone else coming across the same thing in regards to descriptions being pretty much duplicated so I was like okay then, lol. I'll be sure to keep an eye out on duplicate descriptions that aren't released from me. Granted I haven't used anything personal in a while I do still try to be original when inspiration strikes. Guess it just never struck me not to check in the first place. Oh well, all is good in the hood for now. :P

I've been ok, just having lots of migraines lately. I'm working on new medications, they just don't seem to be working with me very well. XD However, I am doing great in terms of how excited I am for my next few CW releases. I have a couple really awesome wigs that I am releasing and I can't wait. How are you doing?

Sorry to hear about your migraine troubles. I suffered through them a great deal from an early age until my early 20's. Now I get them every now and again, thankfully. Took medication at one point too for it but that was a long time ago. I hope the meds help you out. ((hugs))
