heh. i'm also starting to think about 'brunch'. i had a couple slices of toast (so i could take my meds) but now i'm thinking 'real food' lol

You're a better parent than me. I had saved up $20+k in a savings for college. That paid for a year and a half. The rest is all student loans. Poor kid. Oh wells. Millions of students do it. He can too. And scholarships help too.

I've told him that once he's out I'll help him pay down that debt. Thank goodness he's going to a Cal State school where it's cheaper than a UC school. He wanted to go to UCLA but didn't quite make the cut. If he had gotten into UCLA I would of figured out some way to get him there. Lol. That's what parents do.

yah, i was grateful all these years (about the girl) that the federal grant covered most for her. but this year. phhhhiiiiiit.

her school job didn't come through either, so i'll still have to help her :( but at least the school itself is covered.

(and SILVERLUNARFOX) well, i watched the first season of GoT. :( i admit, there was NO way i could read through THAT and watch. before the title/names come across the screen, i was hooked.

but as it went along, it got slower and more convoluted and to many people and to many things going on. it was like they started right in the middle of the book (to me. but i haven't read any of them)

heh. and JULIE, i don't have those channels either. i'm lucky that with an antenna i can get the 'big 3/local' channels. but i abscond with the show. site my girl told me about. i even saw suicide squad. :)

i might try again on GoT. usually i would love something like that show. don't know if it's the upheavel in my life or what, but i just can't seem to get into anything.

i've bought 10 books (TEN) this past 2 weeks /month/ and i can't seem to get into any of them. i'm distracted, or get frustrated with the characters or something. :(
