glad your testing is over for now and that you can just relax a bit. :) Which items did you have to wait to purchase? I like the raven, I just noticed it.
just a few are there...did not release very many. lol I just love the style. One of my favorites.
yes, that's what I'm afraid of and I foolishly once upon a time switched my major one other time buuut that was over 10 years ago! So I definitely do not have time for that. What are you studying for?
rofl, not many? I really like it too, very similar to how my own hair often is... minus the framing face pieces.
Oh I finished years ago as well, but I switched from Psychology to Graphic Design. :P
WHERE ARE YOU? :o :P
Same for ... we miss you! Can't imagine how many pings you must have waiting for you now... :P
I bombed that test bad! But he'll drop it since the other two tests I'm more interested due to the material (rocks and stuff like that lol)
I waited for the wig to come down because when I looked before it was at 15mil!!! Then I looked again and it was at 1m something, so went ahead and bought it :) Now the lowest price is 4m and some change.
whew, I'm glad that test will get knocked off. Those are my favorite types instructors that are gracious and understanding that we are not all humanoids with the intellect of a robot. Which reminds me... We started watching HUMANS last night, lol.
And you have to love the way things fluctuate on site sometimes even if it takes more than a few days.
bahahaha that was the major I switched to before I ended up leaving all together. I tried music first and while I do love music I just didn't feel right with it. Psychology is something else albeit interesting in general. And who doesn't love graphics? I do! What kind of graphics do you do? My apologies if I'm being too nosy, haha.
lol no worries! I started in Psychology actually... :P After college though I couldn't find anything in the field that payed decent where I lived. All the entry level positions were like $7/hr and my husband was doing his Masters so we needed more money to get by. I first found a job as an admin at a small Elder Law office and then later fell into Property Management, which provided good entry pay and a quick path to management for those who put in the hours. Now I'm living overseas, hubby got an offer to pay full time while doing his PhD with a promise it would only take 3 years... we couldn't really turn it down. A friend and I now design monster dice bags and cute little purses to sell at local conventions... we were just at Genki and now we have Comic Con in September coming up. Overall it's quite fun and I enjoy the challenge of taking an idea and breaking it into pieces to put back together into something fun and useful. :)
Sorry to enter your conversation, but I couldn't help adding my bit in. :D ❤️
I wish I would have switched my major while in college because there are absolutely no job prospects for people in my field right now (especially where I live). I got my BS 3 years ago in Plant and Wildlife Science. The starting pay for many open jobs is $0 because it is supposed to be volunteer start for many jobs in my field. I wish I would have switched to music education or psychology (both are things I am highly interested in). Had I switched to music education I could now have a job with a school district teaching music to kids, which is what I love. After graduating college I started teaching music for a private school but it's not nearly as good of pay or benefits when compared to what a school district offers. I have to become fully credentialed in order to work for the District, something I am not sure I want to waste 20k doing since I don't really know what direction I want to go in right now.
After all that, I'm thinking of getting my masters in psychology and doing the School Psychology route or MFT; though that will be a while to come since I'm struggling with medical issues/illness at the moment that make it extremely difficult for me to hold a job. It is either that or I go back into my major area of focus and get a master is epidemiology or Zoonotic disease studies, something along those lines. (See?! I still can't decide!)
Although, I do have a close friend who graduated with his BA in graphic design and now he has an extremely good job in that field (he makes 90k now), so there are jobs in it but you have to be lucky I think. He also started off getting paid much less and worked his way up to the job he has now over the past 2 years.
Your path sounds like it allowed you to grow and figure out something that is unique (and awesome sounding) and hopefully something that you love doing. I know a lot of people envy those who are able to earn money doing something that fulfills them/makes them happy.

I really really extremely want:hellooo everyone! x3 i was directed here by orc and thought it might be a lovely group to get into - i'm told you guys are a lovely bunch and i do love lovely bunches TuT
i'm totally a giw dadtic but in denial about my problem (i can't bring myself to say the actual words, so an anagram will have to do at the mo LOL) i cry a bit inside every time i see holly's beautiful posts about all the new cws..... (the wigs most of all, holy moly those black dreadlocks released most recently, rip my side cut lovin' souuuul)
on the topic of hair tho, if anyone knows of any white-to-pink or pink-to-white wigs, would you HMU? x3 they may or may not be one of my weaknesses so far i know of
but i'm ALWAYS ON THE HUNT FOR MORE /animalistic cries
i know of this too but i'm told it is private sadly 😭
thankyouuuu! :*
*not 100% sure if private though *not private (joint release I did with someone) *my release, not private looks more pink than peach imo
are the ones I own and can think of that aren't private as far as I know.
ooooo those are all super pretty! thank you <3 the peachy ones are gorgeous, agree they look more pinky ! i do loooove peach too though, like the shade of !
I love peach. There are so many peach items now! I love it!!
no worries about jumping in! :) And now you've got me worried about considering a BS though I am only considering getting a BS for animal studies. Hm. Bummer that there are no jobs worthy in your field where you are. Is it the same all over or just in your local area?
Psychology is alright just not something I wanted to fulfill. I felt I would lose my own judgement or sense of direction if I continued on.
hello and welcome! :) I'm sorry I'm of no help with pink to white or white to pink wigs.
there really are!! when i first got into cws i thought everything was in stock forever, LOL, i was so sad when i realised all these gorgeous hairs and other cws were so limited!
hellooo!! awhh thank you x3 thats okay! it's like a mini mission of mine, there are so many cws it's fun when i do find one! c:
all the items coming out recently are so amazing.
You were just in a different outfit on LRVT and when I come here you changed lol :P
ahaha, yes cws can be addicting! I'm currently awaiting a bg and a wig to be done. Hoping they are done by mid week to release by Friday (my birthday!). If not no biggie I'll just release when I get them. Also, I'm currently addicted to real life clothing from a company called LuLaRoe. ❤
I just spent an hour getting this outfit together, lol. Levi was calling me Seaweed Woman, ahahahaha!
Unfortunately there just are not many openings for jobs concerning rangelands/wildlands/forests, wild animals, or parks services because they are in high demand. Unless you work and live in the east coast area, then there are more openings way more often. Or if you like to only work part time in the summer, then there are more job openings. For instance, you could be a bus driver in a NP in Alaska all summer. Or you can work in the visitor center at any NP (except ones in California or Hawaii) for the summer and some of them have winter openings, but not many.
The problem is, I live in California where (according to everyone in my field) everyone wants to work, so there are never any openings (except for 1 parking lot meter reader job I saw in Nor Cal last year). lol
I prefer working outdoors (which all jobs that are listed as outdoors are almost always 75% indoors doing paperwork according to every working professional I've ever talked to in my filed) but those are hardest to come by.
So if you are free/able/willing to move around a lot and go where the jobs open up, then there are more prospects. But if you have a family and can't move ever, then you are extremely limited.
I know this is not everyone's favorite but I love it: also there are these:
