Oh! Nice! <3 My characters tend to get based around emotions/words. Some of those get decided part way through though. XD My (active) current ones are: Elves Efa: She's based around "stability." She's the ultimate compromiser and has a pure heart. She's also my "I'm forsaking the dalish and following the Chant" character. Ena: Doesn't really have a word, but "wisdom" might be as close as I can get to one for her. But she's my dalish huntress. She's curious, wants to learn, especially about her people and where they came from. Eta: Eta is my Bull Romancer. XD She reminds me a bit of a chihuahua with a napoleon complex. She's full of spirit and sarcasm. <3 The word I based her around is "valor" XD Dwarves Baheni: Her word is "strength." She's funny and caring, but she stands up for the little guys out there. <3 Humans Torin: He's based around the word "confidence." He's charming and witty. And just a tad bit cocky from time to time. c:
I really want to do a qunari play through to romance Josephine. I have the character made, just haven't started yet. I also need to finish my Sera romance. (Plus I want to make a qunari to romance her with as well). <3
I don't think I can bring myself to do an anti-Chantry playthrough. XD I struggle with it too much. Even Ena and Eta respond with "I don't knows" (though Eta's come of more as "who flipping cares?").
It's so hard to step out of my comfort zone sometimes. I just keep reminding myself that outside my zone is where I'll find new experiences. Like when I stopped sending Moran the Under to Tevinter and instead sent him to tutor a noble. Sometimes the new experience isn't what I'd hoped, but sometimes it's a new questline -- like with Sutherland. You just never know until you try.
(My fav tho was when I decided to make the box do community service. We still LOL about that one.) :D
EDIT:
I've gotta get it in gear if I'm going to get any time in on Splatdragon tonight! I call all the DA games Splatdragon because of the opening title short on the original. The blood goes SPLAT! and seeps out into the shape of a dragon. So SPLAT! and you have a dragon. lol
I know the feeling. Baheni is out of my comfort zone. XD I don't usually enjoy playing dwarves... And I haven't been able to romance Blackwall yet. But she's doing both of those things. XD It's always good to try to step outside your comfort zone though! Especially in DA games. Oh gosh. XD Movran and Abernasche are the best. My most recent one was blackmailing Celene, Briala, and Gaspard to work together. XD Probably not the best for an inquisition that will last, but it was gratifying.
XD I think my bf did that one! It was the best.
Nice! XD That definitely makes sense to me. My bf thinks I'm weird because I make sound effects with the dragon title screens in DA:O and DA2.
My son and his friends all call SPLAT Dragon that now too. It's really funny because they don't want me to know it caught on with them. They don't like to encourage me. XP
I haven't played a dwarf yet. I just remember what a pain it was to see anything in the last game. It drove me nuts! Is it better in this one? Plus, if you were a two-handed warrior, the sword stuck in the ground behind you so it looked like you were plowing fields. lol
Thanks for the thread ^^
I did not had any time to play since we talked, so all my perfect file and my wanto-to-be plays are... nah, waiting.
For you too all, I'm an elvish lover (in almost all kind of fantasy) and in DAI Solas lover. sigh
XD That's funny. I feel like my boyfriend tries not to encourage my antics sometimes, but he's just as odd as I am (even if he won't admit it). XD
It's much better in this game. XD I could actually get some footage of my two-handed dwarf fighting later tonight if you want to see. XD (He's not one of my active playthroughs, but I'm getting back to him). Baheni is an archer rogue. <3 (I love playing ranged characters though).
No problem! c: XD I understand that. I'm still trying to come up with ideas for new characters (not that I need them... I need to actually play through the game fully with Eta (since I rushed her playthrough on my computer to have one game finished and gain access to the golden nug)...

(Feel free to post pictures of your inquisitors too, if you guys would like to show off any! c: And let me know if you're curious about any of mine. I've done a few redesigns of characters over the past month because I started downloading mods). XD
I'm usually in a hurry to play, so I often tire of customizing the characters I create. TG for the Mirror of Transformation at the Emporium! lol Don't ya just love Xenon? "We had a visitor the other day. Turned out to be a Venatori! We fed him to the monster under the floorboards. He made a delightful crunching noise. Are they all like that?"
I can say the next time I do a Qunari, I will NOT use the spiral horns that angle straight back and up. When you run, it looks like pigtails flying behind you. lol Who ever heard of a Qunari with pigtails? :D
Uhoh, thanks for the Qunari horn tip :D
I want to see your characters :D I will show my Lavellan as well... the others are only exist in my mind :D However I would like to have a mage romenced with Cullen, probably human.
XD Xenon is the best! Ugh. I love that guy. I can't get into the emporium without uninstalling most of my mods now though, so I rarely do anymore. XD
Oh no! XD I think I had that style on Essa at one point. But I think I've changed it since then. c: (Also, if you're playing on a computer there are a few mods that make the qunari skin complexions a bit nicer... Like the shiney white around their eyelids goes away). c:
They're spoilered below! c: I'm always happy to see peoples' Dragon Age characters. XD Cullen with a Trevelyan mage is adorable. c: (he has a few extra questions about the circle, ect... if you're a circle mage). c:
(click the pictures to see a larger version!)
Torin has of course changed hair since then. XD Efa is wearing a modded dress, and she, Ena, Essa, and Baheni all have modded hair (Baheni has a modded complexion). Let me know if you guys want links to any of them. c:
I'll have to remember that. I'm buying new electronics next month so I may do the DA on computer instead of the console.
Mods in DA:I are awesome. <3 I really love the customization ones. XD But those are the ones the crash the mirror. If you do get into modding, the DA:I Mod Manager makes installing/uninstalling them super easy. And I usually keep my active mods in a separate folder for the rest that I've downloaded so I know which ones I need to click for get my game looking the way I had it when I reinstall mods. c:
Thanks for the tips! I'll have to remember that next month. In other words, don't be surprised if I ask you again… lol
No problem! XD I'm happy to help out. It took me a while to figure out what on earth I was doing and why my mods weren't showing up in the mod manager. It's all a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it (which doesn't take too long) you're good to go. c:
Baheni is sooo cute :D Now I feel that I have to play a dwarf :D
I never used mods. But I will have to consider it :)
I've only got 2 Quizzy's so far, but I love them. My first was Cal, duel-wielding rogue and a Cullenmance. She's of a softer, more diplomatic nature. I finished her playthrough and did Trespasser with her. Belle is my second, and I'm halfway through her playthrough. She's a storm mage, with a heavily sarcastic sense of humor and a more charge head-first personality. She was meant to be my Solasmance but after the fade kiss I started feeling like he wasn't the right one for her, so she's romancing Bull now. As you can see I ended up changing her vallaslin.
Calliope
Belle
Thank you! XD I've affectionately started calling her my "pocket-sized inquisitor" because she's so tiny and cute. They're worth it. XD It took me a while to get one perfect, but Baheni is one of my favorite inquisitors.
They're nice for certain characters! I didn't start until last month, but I'm really loving the complexion and hair ones that I've got installed. Plus the dress. The dress I have them in replaces the default tan pyjama outfit and the formal wear that the inquisitor wears to the Masquerade (not on guys though). c:
Both of your inquisitors look lovely! c: (Calliope is especially cute!) And I know what you mean about the Solasmance. c: I've only had one character so far that he's really been the best fit for. XD (And Iron Bull's romance is great). c:
[edit] You guys have no idea how excited I am right now. pokes Lavellan
Halla Neela!
I ended up splurging a huuuge chunk of my sP savings on CSC so I finally have the 1000 I need to change my UN when Lavellan clears in March
Yes! X3 Hallas are the best.
That's awesome! cx I'm stalking a few pet names right now for when I get my loyalty totem. XD And really hoping it starts snowing again and that my evening class gets cancelled, even though I love my professor... (I hate late classes)
I adore your HA right now. ;w; The colors are gorgeous!
