i joined earlier this month thanks to a friend from neopets and i think i'm finally at a point where the site isn't too confusing, haha! currently waiting to see how subeta handles events.. was briefly here for luminaire but was too confused to do anything with it. so now i'm just looking for friends c: i'll be real, i'm really surprised i didn't join subeta earlier in my life? i joined neopets like 13 years ago so you'd think i would've eventually hopped on over here but i didn't. odd! :9

anyways. a bit about me... my name is nana/hasu and i'm a sophomore in university. i'm really into video games (elder scrolls online, life is strange, and dragon age atm), fashion/haute couture, art history, and insect collection/study. a little bit all over the place, i think, but it's a good range of stuff and it's fun. i draw quite a lot, though i'm not sure how often i'll do it on here because i can barely commit to drawing my neopets at this point lol. i'd love to hear more about y'all, especially if we have interests in common!

...and if someone could point me to some ways i can make sp aside from restocking/questing, i'd really like that (like stock market or food club on neo?). i run out of quests by 9am usually and restocking is awfully slow Q ___ Q

@ Sera hey, welcome!! its p amazing that you didnt get into subeta during your neopets years tbh!! pretty much my whole np friendlist got annoyed w/ np at some point and joined subeta. i did too, then forgot abt subeta for years, and started getting active again a few months ago. i got my friend (whos also into dragon age ✌) to join too and now i'm having a Good time

bc the restocking is indeed a little slow i like to restock and quest at the same time by like. finishing some quests and then refreshing the shops i usually restock at, buy stuff, do some quests again, etc!!

your signature art is really cute btw! theres a forum on here for people to sell/buy art on so that could be a way to earn some sp too!!

@ Sera i was v active on the (dutch) forums then and they had chat groups going on so it was p easy for my 14 y/o self to make some friends!!

its better than just constantly refreshing a store for restocking, and you also wont get annoyed by quests (or well thats my experience) bc you'll get tiny breaks. yes its an Ok thing to do over here! creating/selling user and pet profiles or other graphics is also a Thing that you can do. ✌

Subeta events are fun. The next one coming up should be Pandemic/Survival and then Masquerade right after it, which are very easy to get involved with and learn how to handle Subeta events. c:

i've seen pictures of survival and i'm kind of terrified for it!! mainly because those SKINS ARE SO MUCH... WHO DID THIS ON SUBETA.. i thought this was a kids site.. wHY but also im excited to kiss everyone :')

Oh, agreed. Some of the Survival skins are uber creepy. Subeta is technically PG-13 and if you take off the language filter, you can get away with swearing.

Essentially, yes. XD You have to do some pretty drastic things to get frozen here and you'll be warned before that happens. The admins here are pretty chill.

welcome to subeta! sera is such a cutie ❤️ as for restocking, i think it's faster when you have multiple shop tabs open and keep refreshing.

i forgot to respond... still trying to figure out the subeta notif system e___e that sounds really great though.. i love not being scared of being frozen. tnt is trigger happy with that, its kind of annoying.. plus thEY TAKE YEARS to unfreeze for unfair stuff D:
