I have done what you say. Actually I have done this more times before. Mebe it will work now. I hope he doesn't appear anymore.
I'll just wait off. Thank you.
So you have the code in there, but is there any other code or is that the only one? if he does keep showing up, I don't know what's wrong. no problem, I tried to help out at least.
Yep the code is activeted at the part from CSS but it doesn't say nothing if this has got also influence when the hustler will appear or not at the site in general. At this moment it's a matter of time he will stay away from me or not.
can you copy and code on this page and post it in a for me?paste your code here
So wait is the hustler advertising ONLY for gold account users? Because I used to have it, and now I don't.
Oh that's all you have there? Nothing should be wrong then :/
No but I think it does target certain users more often. I got the notice often without a GA active too
But I HAD the advertisement. And then it disappeared, and I haven't had it since. And I've always used adblock on subeta, so unless adblock changed something, that shouldn't be causing the problem.
I have adblock too and still get it. It may have changed who it's targeting? I don't know. I got the banner with my GA active and without so it wasn't that.
I actually liked it, because it was more reliable than the ping group. The ping group sometimes pings for the same thing up to three times.
Just to let you know that having that code in the custom CSS will not prevent the hustler banner from showing up on pet profiles, unless the pets' owners put that code in their pet descriptions. If you'd like to disable that banner on your own pets, you can add this to each of your pet description:<style>.hustler { display: none;}</style>

I didn't really mind it, I have the css blocking it so I could test out if it worked or not because of this thread. I wonder why some people get it and some people don't though. I know when it first came out Keith was targeting certain people over others so that's all I can guess, that that is still going on.
I never activated a GA after it had nothing to do with pet slots anymore. But I keep getting the stupid banner, and I don't know why since I never buy from the hustler. And it gets more annoying because it shows up on pet profiles, literally the ONLY place I mind having the damn thing showing (and I can't control if other users add that code to their profiles).
I really wish that there'd be an option to turn this off entirely.

Just popping in here to mention that I have also not received the hustler banner for a very long time. Seemed to disappear soon after the feature was implemented and haven't seen it since. The banner did not bother me and I have not applied any CSS to remove it.

Well I still don't give up to figure out. Meybe these hooks [ ] will help if I put this on the place I put also the code itself.
I appriciate your help very much.
Thank you for your advise I'll do this bij mij petpages in any case. Each little thing mey help. :)
I remember it was targeting certain users because i was in the first group when it just got released and then the group changed and I haven't had an alert ever since then.
The people getting the alert are in the current test group. The people not getting the alert aren't in the current target group.
I'm pretty sure it's for statistics, to test if it actually works as a trigger for people to buy. And if so for what people it works as a trigger and for what people it doesn't work. Who clicks through to the hustler? Who instantly deletes the alert? Do these people that click through have GA, do they have csc and do they actually buy or just take a better look at the item? Stuff like that.
Either way: keith put me back in the target group pretty please i actually miss those alerts.

Regardless of the reasoning behind splitting players into groups it seems he surely has enough data now to move forward. It's another thing that seems to have been forgotten.
Yeah it's been ages and it indeed feels like it has been forgotten.
