I was really annoyed at first. I am at a point where I make myself throw up because I'm AFRAID of eating. It's alright if they want to wait, but my health is not waiting anymore. I kept the same weight for years and I gained 60 pounds in less than 3 months. Most of the weight has been gained little shy of 2 weeks - it's insane.

My friend had her surgery done and she was very happy about it. She did lose weight and she was able to stick to it at first, but she hasn't really had any progress since. I... I have PCOS and it was one sort of option, though my insurance wouldn't cover it.

Having PCOS makes it extremely hard to lose weight. It's not enough to eat healthy and exercise; I have to eat 1k calories or less to make any progress.

But if it's something you really want to do, make sure you are aware of everything and plan accordingly, especially if you start to slack off. Make sure you have a good support system that can help you.

I got the surgery in October of 2014. It was the best decision I've ever made (lost 102 pounds so far). I changed my lifestyle completely, I run for exercise and eat healthy now. Since I'm so far out into the recovery zone, if you have ANY questions I know the answers probably.
