Hi! I'm just curious, as someone who doesn't participate in auctions, I'm unfamiliar with the term... what does a reserve mean?

A reserve, usually hidden, in an auction means that there is a minimum amount the seller will accept for the item to be sold/won. :) I don't normally do reserve's, but this is an extremely special item to me, so decided to go this route. I hope this answers your question! ❤

Naw it's just to get stuff rolling and generally, it can be used as a starting poingt for the lowest you'd sell for, but it just depends on the auctioner. :)
