I don't think so, go for it! No matter who ends up taking over, I think we'll figure out a way to make this place a little more lively and fun - it's a little dead in the summer, but I think that can be changed. Our leader's been great, she's a wonderful person (and she isn't actually leaving the cult, just stepping down a bit!) and this is a really neat group, so if you're up to see how it develops, I don't think anyone here would object to having you onboard. ^_^

Not in particular, I don't think! We have some other groups (listed at the bottom of the first post) that you can join as well if you'd like, but they're not mandatory at all. We've got a birthday thread and a few games going in the group forums that you can participate in if you'd like. ^_^ Usually there's an avatar contest going on as well, but it's been closed temporarily so we can switch over to the new leader (since our current leader is the one who runs it and she can't be on here a whole lot right now). I'm thinking we could also use an avatar help thread (like if you're not sure what to use in an outfit or are looking for things of a specific color, etc), and some threads pertaining to other areas of the site as well, so I may look into starting those soon!

I'm glad you think so! ^_^ Since the color tags in the wardrobe are so warped and the hair salon is super messed up, I thought it might be a good thing to have to help people find things that match and get hair the right color, since those are both incredible feats nowadays. cx I've gotten pretty decent at it myself, but I also spend a lot more time on outfits than I imagine most people do.

Aha, yeah, I'm the same way. Just kind of try and hope is about all I can do in the wardrobe as it is now! But usually I can get fairly close, and I'm getting better at layering (especially with tights, one can never own too many pairs of tights). It's really fun to try and find new effects! I'm working on one to mimic part of a headpiece right now. ^_^

Very true! Even if it's broken, if it can be worked around, I go for it. ^_^ It's not too hard, don't worry! I just throw on a bunch of things that are the same color/pattern and then weed it down to what I actually like and go from there. Mainly I worry about distributing colors and patterns evenly across the outfit because that tends to be what makes an outfit look really nice to me! Really, as long as you like your own outfit, you're doing well! n_n

exactly! uhh my favourite event used to be masquerade but now i don't know. i enjoy all the little new events that pop up every now and then. you?

masquerade is super fun! i love all the clothes that always come with it (though it's a royal pain to try to get enough trinkets to buy them all, there's just. so. many. x.x) and it's neat to see all the ways that people use the masks. i think my favorite one is probably vesnali, just because it's always so adorable and i love bunnies and chicks and spring in general is just pretty, but i also really love morostide! i like the little unscheduled things that happen too! which one of those has been your favorite so far?

ikr! whenever i'm not on hiatus during masquerade i try to get as many dances in as possible to have enough trinkets for the next year cx bc you need so many. good thing i'm not crazy about steampunk wearables vesnali is great! so is esther. were you team nature during the snowman event? .. does the double csc weekend count

That actually exists! The Subetapedia is pretty helpful for stuff like holidays, there are entries for all of them. I really love the Halloween one too, Morostide is always really interesting and fun, especially when they have plots!

oh gosh, i'm super bad about being on hiatus during masq. literally, last year was the only one that i've gotten to participate in so far and i've been here 5 years. i was actually sick then though so i managed to get a lot of dancing done! i'm not crazy about steampunk either but there's a lotta stuff in there that can be used for other things (and a bunch of cute animals, i will literally never wear them but i need them all cx) esther and emma are absolutely adorable, oh my gosh. yup, i was! what about you? c: lmao sure, i like those too and the bonus items are usually pretty interesting to see. i liked the parrot thingamabob a lot this time because birds are pretty much the best things ever!

I'd planned on making myself an Ursula HA for Halloween on here using the aeanoid root and this cute black strapless dress, but ¯(?)/¯ I don't really do much to celebrate it irl; I pretty much just eat candy, watch spoopy movies, and try to make some of the cute things like that one crafty auntie posts on pinterest lol Last year I made these cute little white chocolate dipped strawberries with dark chocolate ghost faces on them ^^
