Oh I ate some of my Mom's unusual dinners. She did try to once a month make a special dinner, like tacos.

Yep us, too. We could wait for a birthday or holiday. Our dinners were potatoes with hamburger gravy, and canned vegetable every day except holidays and bdays. heading off to shower and work on jigsaw puzzle.
