That is so sad! But your grandma's safety comes first. My 2 never snap at anyone. Not even if you get your face near them while they are eating. I conditioned them as pups, that this was normal. Plus I watched a show that said, you should run your hands through their dry food. So they associate your scent with their food and know it comes from you. I have never had an issue with them over food. Well I did get soaked washing the dogs, but it was refreshing as hot as its been. Sorry havent chatted much, I have been in a weird mood/anti-social. I get annoyed and shut down. Know its just much me and RL.

Yeah, I don't think they did that with this dog. That dog was crazy though o.O She is a boxer, so I'm not sure if they have problems to begin with or not. The boxer before this one was so good and sweet. But she's had others that were pretty mean though. I guess it's just the personality of the dogs themselves.

I was warned with my 2 dogs being part chow chow that they werent good around kids/family. Thats just so not true with my two. Their both very gentle tempered, and loving. Anything that is small is a baby to them, and they need to protect it whether human or animal.

Geez bsements can be a blessing and pain in the butt. I have a friend in Ohio she is always battling her basement, when it rains. Take care hopefully you can soak up some sun tomorrow.
