The Parrot

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in desperation, threw up his hands, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said: "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

Not a fan of birds either! I have been afraid of birds since I was a kid. A friend of mine sent it to me, I thought I would share a good laugh.

yeah, i have a fear of birds.. with the exceptional on fancy chickens ;P everyone thinks i am weird

I will feed chickens, but they need to keep their distances. I was attacked by a robin at 7 years old it landed on my head and grabbed my hair. Problem with the robin was it ate a berry called, mountain ash. When its ripe it makes birds drunk, and do things they normally wouldnt do. Nobody gets my phobia either.

i grew up with chickens, i am okay around them but if they are too big they start to freak me out i mostly am terrified of birds that can fly and turkeys cause they are so big and stupid i don't really know what brought on my phobia.. but my sister thinks it might have been because i watched 'Birds' at such a young age

Turkeys and swans can get mean and chase you. I will chase the chickens out of their coops, usually a loud sound and they run. Then I will collect their eggs. The Omen movie with the huge flock of birds, freaks me out.

swans and geese are the meanest things ever.. they freak me out if i have to get the chickens i just trick them with food somewhere else ;) have you seen 'Birds' its the scariest shit ever.. flocks of murderess birds, O

I wont bother to watch it will freak me out. Juat my luck I would have nightmares like a little kid.

i still get nightmares about bears once in awhile.. luckily i don't wake up screaming just soaked in sweat my husband says im weird but ever since i was little bears have haunted my dreams

I used to have a nightmare about a polar bear, that got into our house.

mine started when my mom received a bear skin from my brother and put it in the freezer to keep i have had some weird nightmares because of it

Yea right, but I am originally from Montana and lived in Alaska for over a year. Polar bears not in Montana, but I guess I wasnt exposed to them as a kid and feared them. Yuck in the freezer, no wonder you have nightmares. TOKEN SHOP RS NOW
