-peeks inside- So my name is Kalkatak (though I answer to Kal and Kalky too) and I returned to Subeta in the New Year after a long hiatus I wasn't really into the social side of Subeta before, but now that I'm properly active I'm finding it a bit lonely, and so have decided to put my wishes to appear sane to one side.

Things I'm working on include my pets' characters (why is it so hard to get what is in your head onto a page??), re-learning to code after too long a break, working on developing my art style, and training Tarrant relentlessly (I can't touch Saggi yet, but I shall someday! Congrats 🎉)

Away from Subeta I enjoy Pokemon (nerd level), Minecraft, manga and DnD 5th (I DM and also play a Barbarian poet). Am also a Dr Who fan, though I'm iffy about the current one (re-watching Tennant again :)) Other randomness: 3 brothers, dog + 4 cats, Mac-Dvorak-Blank Keyboard, babbles with sugar, OCD

It's nice to be back, last year was just insane, hoping to relax a little more in 2016 :) It definitely does, if not for the better weapons then for the new ability to survive by 2hp xD

I did not just spend 1mil on snowballs ... no way

Heya Fel! I love the originals! ... I have the originals, and an old handheld specially for them xD Yellow is my favourite, but the others are just as awesome. I hope all the unbalences are still there, it won't be Gen 1 without all the broken strategies! Plus it would destroy my team 😜 I'm still looking forward to Super Mystery Dungeon, because it isn't out here yet -_-

; i have all the originals and then up to diamond and pearl, save for HG and SS because i didn't have a DS when they came out. and i also have an old handheld, and a GameCube to play them on with the special attachment (god, i feel so old XD)

but yeah, i think the original yellow, blue, and red (while all being at most 10$ according to sources thank god) are just being remastered to function for the DS with it's wireless trading (yes please) and just the system in general. i wonder if they'll allow trading via the other gens or if it will sync up with the PokeBank.

where do you live that it's not out yet, not to sound creepy? it looks good, but i was never into the mystery dungeon spin-offs.

No worries, I don't find it creepy; I live in Ireland, where we get everything last 😆 Well I feel over-obsessed now, I've got them all ... spin-offs included (Colosseum takes SO LONG) The Gameboy Player is an awesome thing, it allows the whole family to laugh at my skills at anything but pokemon

Yea, I like the ones with after-game content the best; I'm actually still working on the Frontier in Emerald ... occasionally Hehe, we're actually in need of new GC controllers, we think the youngest must have worn out the bumpers by dodging too much in Smash Bros, or attacking other racers in F0GX, one of the two

Busy busy day today, but I found the time to dig out / buy some snowy items I had, I'm usually lazy with outfits but I think this one turned out ok (would purple aliens get red noses in the cold though?) Now I just want that Patchy Snowman Hat, only 300 recycle points to go :)

I'll probably get one too eventually, especially if you can use it and the vortex together, two blocks sounds really nice For now though I want the Vortex and a Simple Catoblepas Wheeley Toy; it's gonna be my freezer until T8

teach me your patience for training and battling in general - tantrum & kentucky (primarily tantrum now) are my battling pet(s) and it's just hell and a half to get them to where i want them
