"Yup!" Sam nodded. "Sadly or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, my Christmas list was a short one. Got just enough sickles left over for some chocolate."

"I can buy your book, if you want." Beth offered to Sam ().

"When the Lee's adopted me, several of their friends and coworkers sent money for me as a welcome and ta 'elp with getting me sorted. But they already 'ad me room done up. I got enough to by me books and some for Zonkos an' Honeydukes. Never been able ta 'ave so many books so looking forward to readin' 'em." He hadn't thought of needing to get back to Hogwarts with all his books. Hmm... he thought... "Well, got several people, someone is bound ta know a longer spells as to make 'em follow me or something..." He felt a pang of guilt knowing how much the book Sam gave him must have cost and thereby depleted her funds. He decided he'd by some sweets and products at Zonkos and slip them into her bag or something. He was good at nicking all the books he did from his old headmistress and even returned them without any flaws.

"Just over there to the right of the door, I think," Paddy replied (), "but I did walk quickly past that section, so I might have misread what it said."

"Either that, or we can lend a paw.... er hand in carrying them back, Magnus ()" Paddy said with a grin, "I think all the shop keepers here are willing to deliver though, with the amount of stuff we've been buying."

Once Millie was done with her shopping her and Gaia went to meet their friends. "I just need to get my order. I sent my list last week with one of my owls. It is a safety measure for me not to buy more than I need!" Gaia walked to the shop keeper to ask for her book order and pay.

"I'm ready when you are. I need to make one more stop at the book store to get some extra help in runestones and Ancient Studies."

"Guess I should pay for me books then." He gathered the pile that was larger than he was and hefted it. It and the boy teetered as he carried them to the till. How he saw was anyone's guess. The clerk put the books in several piles. "Here now," Why don't you carry these few books," he said. It appeared he knew the boy wanted to have some with him and the pile contained the new book that Sam gave him. "We'll send these down now with some owls. Should be there when you get back." Not seeing a reasonable argument Magnus agreed. "Guess I'm ready to go to Honeydukes and Zonkos."

Millie found her way into the history section and began looking for books to help her with extra class. Sometimes she wondered why she picked an extra class in addition to the two mandatory ones in the beginning of the year, but in the long run, she was happy she did. She really enjoyed the class and her father said it would pay off in the long run.

She placed the three books she found on the counter. "It's so easy to get to get lost in here. I saw so many books I wanted but I'm just going to stick with these three for the time being. And I'm all finished with my shopping. I need to get back soon so I can start baking cookies and I need to study some astronomy"

"Probly wise, Gaia, I might've gone a little crazy on the books. But I'll send some 'ome slowly as I finish reading 'em. Mum can send ya a broomkit if you want, she makes Qudditch supplies. I can send an owl post tonight and she'd send it out in the morning. We've got a lot o' surplus. So is it Zonkos next then?"

"I'm all finished but I'll go with you guys to where ever (ooc - sorry, I'm going to log off for a bit. Just turned on the last Harry Potter movie)

"Well, since you went ta Honeydukes, maybe we should do Zonkos next so those finished can walk home?"

"Sure," he said laughing, "maybe I can find a direction changing map for ya... see how long I can get you lost?" It was clear he was joking as he lead the group towards the building. They all entered and Magnus was quickly lost to the joke supplies. He piled his arms full of things to help in his mischief making. He had to restrain himself from buying as much as he wanted to, but slipped a order form into his coat pocket. He would buy more later he knew.

Millie stood patiently by the door in the joke shop. She needed to stop spending money and her arms were full from everything she had bought earlier.
