I'm Lonely :(

I agree that the holidays have been kind of a bummer this year, and definitely busy (although for different reasons on my end), but that sucks ): I'm sure you're not a horrible friend, though! You have to make sure you're taken care of before you can be there for your friends, as much as it might make you feel guilty. And with so much on your plate it's no wonder there hasn't been much time for it. I hope your friends understand on some level. I know some people who work so tirelessly they don't have much time for anyone else, and it's sad sometimes (bc I know a lot of people who hate their jobs and who shouldn't have to work as much as they do), but I also really admire them! Working that much and taking care of yourself are things we take for granted culturally I think, that's really no small feat!

That's really cool that you like your jobs though!! Honestly, I don't know many people who are in a position to say that, that sounds really awesome. I'm not built for the whole 9-5 thing either, I tried really hard to be and it just about killed me. I've been out of work for a long time actually, but I started doing some stuff online recently thru this site called amazon mechanical turk, and it's actually been pretty decent (at least for me, having been unemployed). Especially cause I can do it in the middle of the night when I'm usually awake, lol. It's not a dream job but it's a pretty cool/easy way to make small amounts of money.

Kittens!!! Well, my kitty is actually named Pantoufle, and he's two and a half years old! I've had him since he was about 8 weeks. Gus belongs to my roommate and her fiance and he's about four years old, but we've been living with them since September and Gus and Pantoufle really hit it off. They're buds, it's super cute lol. Except that Pantoufle has taught Gus all kinds of naughty things like how to get up on the refrigerator, hehe. That's my boy alright!
