I don't know if this is directly related or just a coincidence, but since this update I'm seeing a "Connection is not secure" warning on some pages, including the main page, news comments, and this thread.

Inventory and Explore pages both show as secure, and so does the main forum page.

Speed is pretty impressive though! :D

We're working on that :) Today I flipped the switch to move us permanently to https for security and that means pages that link to non-https stuff ends up making it 'not secure'. You should see improvements in that over the next few days :)

I LOVE the continuous Lag & 502 pages I keep getting ever since you all switched. I blamed the lag I was having the other day on this & I just had it after I kept getting the 502 Cloudfare page & just left. Come back today & same story different day.

I don't think the switch to being permanently on https is actually going to do anything good for any of us. My browser now insists that all of Subeta is not secure and dangerous and the lag has increased exponentially since the forced shift to https. I had literally no problems with site security before that shift. The site was running pretty well before that too. That is only thing that changed from when the site and wardrobe were functioning to now - now if I can get the wardrobe to load, it takes forever, and will randomly quit for no reason midway through. The number of 502 errors has increased markedly as well. This is an issue in both Chrome and Firefox (both of which are completely updated).

I agree with Reaper, ever since you implemented this change, the site has been giving me nothing but issues. Im constantly getting 502 errors, the wardrobe refuses to load at all. Larger wishlists just sit there saying they are loading but eventually never do. I also noticed that even after a page has finished "loading" in my tab where it shows the loading icon it continues spinning as if it is still trying to load the page, which is causing my browser to work even harder. And the lag is absolutely horrible. Im also getting the security warnings everyone else is also talking about. I really don't think this was a good switch.

I am jumping on the bandwagon too. The bad gateway errors are extremely frustrating. :( I was really hoping that server move and other changes were going to improve things and instead it's made things much worse for me.

You're working so hard! Ty! :) It's a shame things are not going as smoothly as you might hope with stubborn lag and drop-outs.

I hope this fixes... various problems. So far it's this change has been pretty dandy, apart from the occasional server not found error hiccup. Well, at least my browser (chrome) hasn't been trying to tell me that subeta isn't secure :Y

I'm not sure if the ol' api thing that keith put out a while back (for mobile applications? I can't remember now) would still work with the new http/s stuff tho

I'm also like completely nonchalant with a technically "insecured" pet site tho tbh lol I think the site itself while going through fixes has a higher chance of fucking my pet profiles than any humans or malicious programs lol

edit: I feel like the only place that really needs https is the cash shop/purchasing credits area? I'm actually kind of confused why you would use https for the whole site tbh

The page for Random still shows "connection not secure". Possibly due to a couple of images that are used in that game.

http://img.subeta.net/items/random_dice.gif

I think the coin pile image that displays for the sP prize has the same issue. I don't have a link to that right now though.

Edit: Yep, the coin image is causing the same problem: http://img.subeta.net/cs_coins_2.gif

Edit 2: Okay, the post is automatically correcting the links to show as HTTPS when I post, but they're not. Viewing image info shows these both as being on HTTP (and I hope that doesn't get corrected too, or this post is going to be kinda confusing!).
