How come? (if you don't mind me asking). I've only ever rped in fandom rps.

That makes sense. I don't think I'd be able to roleplay a canon character. Although I love reading fanfiction. Some people do a great job keeping a character in character.

True. I'm still a newbie at RPing. It's hard for me to act in character for my own OCs.

Sounds like your year is filled with many new milestones and exciting events. Has your son been in a school-like environment already (day-care/pre-k)?

Wizarding serves as a great way for me to procrastinate on assignments. I'm ready for summer to come.

Are you staying there for a week? Where are you going? I would love to go Italy. I bet the food there tastes so good. My sister studied abroad there last semester.

My sister actually stayed in a small village in Northern Italy.

I'm hoping I can travel there sometime after I graduate. It would be great if I got a fellowship to go there or Germany. I've never been to Europe before. Why did you two decide to go to Italy?

I'm not sure how the weather has been in Europe, but it has not felt like winter in the New England area. We barely had any snow. Apparently it's supposed to snow tomorrow.

She's studying Italian. I'm studying German.

The weather has been really weird this year. We only had about a week of 'winter'. Last year it snowed in April. I used to think that it would snow from December - January until I actually experience it.

I want to go on the Fairy Tale Route and visit castles (especially Neuschwanstein Castle). I'd also love to visit Venice, Florence and Naples (which has the oldest pizzeria in the world).

Maybe I'll be lucky and get a fellowship to do research in Germany.

I'm actually from the Sunshine State. We only have two seasons: hot and humid and hot and rainy. My sister came to visit me for spring break and she's "cold".

Hopefully he enjoys it and makes lots of friends. Two of my younger cousins started kindergarten this year and they love it. It amazes me to see how much stuff children learn in kindergarten.

What countries have you traveled to in Europe? Is there a country you particularly like?

That's cool. I'm interested in visiting places with history. The only fort I've visited is the Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine. I think it would be great just seeing the old European architecture. You should definitely try coming over to the States. We have so much to offer. I'd love to do a road trip. I've never left the East Coast before.

My family has been hesitant about traveling to Europe with everything happening there. It's sad to hear about what happened in Brussels. I don't even like reading the news anymore because it's so depressing.

I'm studying German right now in school. I have no idea what you can do with a degree in German. I don't think I'm actually going to use. If I could start college all over again, I would try to complete a different major.

One of the reasons I chose the school I go to was it's study abroad program in Germany. I didn't end up going abroad this year because I was trying to complete the chem major. I'm not trying to complete it anymore. Apparently my school gives students a nice stipend. I really want to go to Germany. It's been my dream to visit since I was 11 years old. Where in Germany did you go?

That sounds nice. I've actually never heard of Bingen. My school has a program in Göttingen. Do you still talk to your host family? Have you had a chance to visit Berlin since then? Did you visit any other countries while you studied abroad? I'd love to visit Hamburg or München.
