I keep getting this when I give wreathed items at the bonfire. I'm unsure if this is just happening to me and I need to file a ticket, or if this is happening to others as well and this needs to be moved to the event bugs forum.

Yes, I have items in my inventory when I get this, and yes, they are regular rarity items and not just special items. I just want the stupid achievement XD

That's just what happens when you burn a Wreathed Red Rreign item -- you only get those from burning something else, so it angers the Red Rreign if you toss his gifts back in for another go-round.

this sounds like a bug to me. You should be able to burn wreathed items as long as they have the word rreign in the item name. That's how I got my burn x items achievement fast and on the cheap, since the total count goes up whether or not the rreign likes what you give him.

is just wrong, sorry. In past years you could totally burn and re-burn items. There's an Achievement for being burned 100 times with a skin and everything.

Ahhh, I don't think I was very clear in my first post.

I'm definitely able to burn regular Rreign items, and I'm able to burn Wreathed Rreign items (and the rreign has burned me several times, I have several in the books toward that achievement). However, there is an achievement called "Item Destroyer," which is the one where you toss in a wreathed rreign item and he burns an item in your inventory instead of burning you or your pets. Even though I have items in my inventory, they are not getting burned, as he apparently cannot find an item to burn.

The same thing happens to me. After burning a wreathed rreign item, the rreign gets mad and tries to burn my inventory items. I get a message that I had no inventory items to burn even though I have plenty in my inventory.

same here, even when i had like 100 items in my inventory, he still "couldn't find" anything to burn. very strange.

I'm having the same issue. Hopefully it gets fixed as I have thrown in numerous wreathed items :(

Ahhhh, okay, that's what I was afraid of. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't doing something wrong before calling it a bug. How would I go about getting this moved to Bug Reports?

what kind of items do you have in your inventory? The Rreign doesn't burn everything.

He has yet to burn an item from my inventory and I've had it all in there from restockable stuff I got from quests to Wreathed Rreign and other holiday items.

Wait does this mean the things I've thrown in specifically for burning (rather than offering) haven't counted? I only just noticed the "you have no items" text the last time I burned something. I can't remember from last year, is he supposed to turn one of your inventory items into a pile of soot or whatever it is before it counts?

Edit: Okay, the result that has the text "Run awaaaaay" does count for the achievement, but the one about having no items in your inventory doesn't. Crap.

The achievement is only for you being burned by the Red Rreign. I'm not sure if pets are still supposed to be able to be burned, but if a pet or inventory item is burned instead of you (the "Run away" message), it doesn't count. That's intentional though.

I had all kinds of items in my inventory: rreign items, restockable items, and a bunch of items I'd gotten from doing quests. I assume he burns restockables at least.
