Hey Keith, take your time mate. Don't stress yourself over it.

Ah the joy of upgrading, always something unforeseen :P
Sucks you ran into a snag! Always happens with these things, don't sweat it though. Thanks for keeping us updated!
This is actually the least stressful move we've ever had, to be honest ;) We've got time on both sides, we've been doing testing all the way up to the point of switching.
Before I would have just pushed us over and figured out the updating stuff on the fly, but no longer!

Well... Stuff happens. Thanks for the update. With age comes wisdom. (5)

Thanks for the updates!
Just one question: does the server move cause lagging? My battle pet is in autotraining (6 sessions, 225 min/each) and should be finished by now. (4:15 a.m.) But it says it still has 2 classes left. :/
Thanks for the updates and all the hard work you and the staff are doing!

I am not old. I am gracefully aged
So has the move happened yet?

So do any of you lot ever sleep? all seems ok here over the pond by the way.
No, the move hasn't happened yet. Keith said he would have a new timeline by tomorrow afternoon. Meeting deadlines has never been a strong point of Subeta, so don't be surprised if it's more like tomorrow evening, or Saturday. :P
Thanks for keeping us updated at least, and the site is still working in the meantime so no big deal if it takes a bit longer than expected.
Yes, that is true! :D

Okay, we're all caught up on the database end, and resolving the updates now, running some final tests :)

Bonus of working with Amazon - unlike other companies, they'll work on a flexible timeline if there's a problem. That's likely another reason why in the past Subeta just had to move and then deal with the errors. A lot of companies I've dealt with in the past for just personal websites have been super dumb and strict about migration dates/times, but from everything I've read about Amazon, they're way more professional about migration because they don't want to have things be broken upon migration.
