Sometimes prayer is all people can send in situations like this, are you really going to condemn that?

Some of the feared victims and missing people so far: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/islamic-state/11995836/Paris-attacks-who-are-the-victims.html
It all just feels so surreal... Until you see their faces. And then it just hits you really hard.
Send thoughts. France is one of the least religious countries, and religion of any kind is leaving a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths.
This is only my French citizen perspective, but I know people behind the initiative are doing it in good faith. I just wish the wording was closer to emotional support than to anything else to do with more religion.
I am however not condemning anything. I know the US associates prayers with support and we can use all of it.

Sending my support from here in the US. My heart and condolences go out to France. You guys haven't left my thoughts since I read the news last night. Stay strong.

I don't have a French Flag to sport, but I was able to get my HA to look decent in support of France. My thoughts are with them. Vive la France!
I used that hashtag but I'm not religious though. Granted, a lot of people probably are using it with an intended religious purpose such as the sending of actual prayers, but it's also been commandeered to just mean sending thoughts to Paris and anyone who was affected in the Paris tragedy.
That said, that anyone could do something that atrocious is sad, tragic. I'm not sure what else to say. France will recover from this and the country will become stronger from it.
I'm really glad to hear you're okay. My heart is broken for the French and every where that experienced violence. I won't pray because I don't believe in it but you and your fellow countrymen and women will continue to be in my thoughts
There'll be a nation-wide minute of silence today at 12PM French time (GMT+1). My neighbours and I will be standing together in front of our homes for it, 'cause there's absolutely nothing else we can do.
And to think this was all planned and prepared in Belgium from what the News says!? I had no idea it was such a crawling nest of terrorism under the surface. I wonder if Belgium's identity problems have anything to do with people choosing to belong to radical groups. (Not all of Belgium even speaks the same language!)
To the people of Paris: I wish there was more I could say than we're with you, we care, and you are in our thoughts and prayers. I have French ancestry and so my heart is that much more hurt by this. I'm stuck between wanting to cry and wanting to hunt down and beat the ever-loving shit out of any person who did this.
To those imbeciles, those complete fools who perpetrated this attack and others: There's this thing, I don't know if you've heard of it. It's called karma. And it's coming for you. It doesn't matter what hole you hide in, it doesn't matter what you call your supposed cause, it doesn't matter what you say you did it in the name of - it is coming for you and you will suffer and die and we will be all the better for it. May your karmic justice be quick.
