Nail polish. It's random (for me) because I'm just so not girly in every other way (like, I can't even be bothered to wear makeup). It's gotten a little out of hand, too. My husband and I had to agree on a monthly nail polish budget, just to keep me in check. XD

I also love watching baking/cooking videos on YouTube. I've always enjoyed baking, but I used to absolutely suck at cooking - until I started watching those videos. Turns out it's a great way to learn - who knew? =P

There's so much random stuff I like. For example I really love vintage toys from the 80s like the first generation Strawberry Shortcake dolls, My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, etc. I wasn't even born until the 90s, but I love stuff like that.

Keychains/charms. I love collecting keychains of my favorite characters from different shows.

I also love reindeer items around Christmas. Reindeer are some my favorite animals, and I own various stuffed animals of them from past Christmases.

Apple scented things are amazing. I use apple scented air fresheners for my car and room.

Depends on what you'd classify as random. My wildest fleeting interest at the moment is looking through old news article databases and lusting after Lab equipment/surgical tool kits sold online. Much less recent developments in interest are sphynx cats, studying old textbook, creating complex purposeless spreadsheets, hidden object/puzzle games, etc.

Well I'm really into budgies and parakeets, if that counts? Like, having them, training them, finding facts about them .. One of mine knows how to wolf whistle, three distinct phrases and two commands (come here and go home). They're very enjoyable company.

But if that isn't random enough, I love combining words in my head to form new ones. The most recent one I remember isn't really subetappropriate, but it's words like that one, just uh .. better.

Up until the past few months, I've never really been all that interested in body care and candles, but I stopped into Bath and Body Works over the summer to stock up on some body wash during their buy 3, get 3 free sale and wound up getting sucked into some of the body creams they had on clearance at the time. That was in early August; I now have six that I regularly cycle through. Thankfully, I rarely paid full price for any of them because the coupons BB&W gives out are so freaking good. As far as the candles go, I've purchased five in the past month. Usually, their 3-wick candles are something like $22, but over Black Friday weekend, they were $12/each, then I had a $10 off $30 purchase coupon, so I got three for the price of one after tax. Now my body and my room smell absolutely incredible all the time!

BUT, i am posting to update on the kits, i have currently done 3, and the first two turned out so bad. super fun, but turned out bad. the last one i did was just now, and it didn't turn out nearly as bad as the first one of this type that i did.

i am fairly proud of the outcome, so i have decided to make a picture update. ^_^
