So you just bought and started to use your 1 month GA, when suddenly, real life happens and you need to take a short break, like a week, or so. Or you know you won't be able to come daily, but regret losing your GA. How about a pause option, from 3 days to 2 weeks, or so? And when you come back, take it from where you left it, as in un-pause? What do you guys think? Please, NICE, constructive criticism...thanks.

I think this has been shut down before, because people will just pause their GA until they need to autoprice, and then pause it again, and that's not how they're intended to be used. It sucks when you suddenly can't make use of your GA, but that's not really the staff's problem.

I could support it if there was a limit on how long you could pause for, and how often (once per month of GA or something) but that also sounds really complicated to keep track of and probably also to code, since you can buy up to a year-long GA with one medal.

I would love this - we probably all would - but I seriously doubt it would ever happen, for the reasons mentioned. I could see how it might really be annoying if someone buys a whole 1-year GA or something and then real life gets in the way, but maybe people whose lives tend to get in the way should stick to shorter GA options. That's what I do. I like using the 1-week or 1-month medals during times I'm really into Subeta.

I also don't see this happening. It doesn't make any business sense.

I think it can work for the 12 months medal only and with a limited pausing time (1-2 months max).. so in any case Subeta gets the payment for 1 year..

's idea isn't bad, imo.

But yeah, a lot of people would just pause every sunday night, to reactivate on friday morning for weekend quests.

Of course I meant once a month and only for 3 day up to a week, I don't think the economy would suffer that much. But yeah, sure, I got everybody's point...'cos I have to :D

Why not just have it prompt if you self freeze? Like "You seem to have an active GA, would you like to freeze your GA until your return? Note: this is only good for six months, after which, your GA will expire and you will return to a basic account until you purchase a new GA."

Or something.

I really support 's idea, it sounds awesome and I don't see how it could harm the economy in any way.

I'd be in favour, but it would have to come with some restrictions, like you can only do it once per medal or something.

I've suggested this before along with others. It'd be nice if you could if you were going to be away for a month or more, but not less, pausing it for a month or more at a time. I don't understand why people think that the site would be losing money, though. You already bought the CSC to buy the GA so it'd still be the same amount of time just broken up

That's not how time works. Users pausing GAs for a month or more would undoubtedly lose money for the site. No support.

This has been suggested before, more than once and it's usually rejected each time. The site has a disclaimer each time you use a GA that once they're used, whatever happens is pretty much on the hands of the user.

It isn't the site's responsibility to make sure that the GA is used its full allotted time by the user who activated it so, sorry to say I'm not a supporter of this either.

As people have pointed out before if this became a thing people would pause it for Monday to Thursday and then unpause it for the weekend quests which to me equals abuse of it. Gold accounts should not be paused just because real life gets in the way.
