I appreciate how great my family is, despite our faults. Like today, it was a rough day, but my family helped pull me through it.

I appreciate being young and having options, though probably not to the fullest extent.

Today, I really appreciate having the day off. This way I can be at home, paint, watch TV, nap, and look at my pretty Christmas tree!

I filled in for a colleague today. His job at our workplace is really challenging and I'm grateful that his duties aren't mine year-round.

I appreciate the heater and the socks I have on my feet because its really cold where I live.

Something I appreciate about today would be that I'm feeling a lot better than I was just the other day! Thank the heavens for rest = v =

Today I appreciate the fact that I'm better at communicating with people as I grow older, and that the right people are more willing to communicate with me.

Also wanted to note that sometimes I try to say something nice that comes off as really awkward at the time, which shows vulnerability and I somewhat regret it. But if the other person has a good heart, it's just another step to bringing you closer. :)

Enjoyed some daylight outside for the first time in weeks. I really appreciate that.

Wasabi peas

Today, my cat was cuddling next to me and at one point stretched his paw and put it right on my face as he purred and just held it there for about three minutes. Might not seem like much, but I'm thankful for the moments I have with him that just seem to be completely uncomplicated and full of love. It's a much appreciated break from all the stressors outside those moments. Crazy cat lady rant done. :)

It hasn't rained much so far, I even saw the sun this morning and my neck doesn't hurt that much anymore.

I'm thankful for having family and pets that love me, no how badly I think I screwed up.

I got a lot of project stuff done today c: So we're a little bit closer to done~!

My mom made delicious pumpkin muffins, just for me!

I'm thankful for my cats and my parents.

I'm grateful for the things I've learned this year. Being 23 & freshly graduated has been a roller coaster so far.

I've learned that no matter how much you may love someone, and how big a part of you they may be, you still need to cut them from your life if they're toxic to you. I've learned that there isn't any shame working a minimum wage job. I've learned to find friends and support where you can, in all kinds of people with all sorts of perspectives. I've learned that even when mental illness and depression seems to devour everything you love, things will always get better; it might take months, or even years...but it will pass. Finally, I've learned that I'm both a cat and a dog person. Love them, treat them right, and they will never make you doubt it.

I'm grateful for the friends I've made. For the "friends" I've purposely lost. For keeping myself on track with school work. For my bird waking me up every morning. For not having bedbugs. For staying strong for the people who have needed me to be. For allowing myself to feel weak when I needed me to be.

I'm still alive. That sadly sums up everything positive for today. Self-made panic sucks.

I am thankful for my health. Even though I'm feeling under the weather today, I know I'll feel better soon and there are others who aren't so lucky.

P.S. I also greatly appreciate this thread, it makes me happy reading through it. :)

I appreciate having a steady job again! It'll be great not having to stress about all my bills next month.

There definitely isn't any shame in working for minimum wage. Being a good worker is something to take pride in no matter how much you make. Especially if you are learning something from your job, like how to talk to people, or getting some exercise, etc. Being the business that pays minimum wage, that's a whole other story.
