- Is defeating him required for the Morostide Warrior achievement, because I still don't have it. I thought I should have after defeating Nightlady.

It didn't used to be you had to defeat Rouland, just the ones we have out right now. People are thinking the achievement is glitched

Does anybody know the stats for Rouland? I think he's the only Morostide opponent I haven't been able to beat. Oh and I haven't gotten the Morostide warrior achievement either even though I've defeated all but Rouland.

The speed for Rouland might change because of the new static speed, they've upped the speed for challengers to accommodate it.

Thanks. I see that his HP is 20K so doubt any of my pets have a chance. Darn. Wanted that warrior achievement.

In previous years Rouland didn't count toward that achievement.

He must this year though because I've defeated all of the others but don't have the achievement. Unless there's a problem with it.

People have reported it in the bugs forum so people think it's a glitch.

Oh OK, thanks for the info. Hope they get it fixed. I was never able to beat Nightlady even once in all these years but got 5 wins today. :)

It is most definitely glitched because if Rouland were included, then would have gotten the achievement since he has all of the Rouland tiers.

for my 3 win pet, along with these two. my 1 win pets don't have enough AP for the shriek

I'm stuck on win too with my T8, I'm very close to Win 4, I have about 3 ties under my belt and can get her down to her last k or so fairly easily

I got 10 wins on all challengers except Nightlady. I'm not even able to beat her once with my T9 x_x

My gear is probably really crappy since I'm not even able to get her down to 50% 4 more days to try and fail. Dx

What are you using (weaps/scrolls)? Some items from 's set are pretty affordable, eg. the maliss cannon :)

My main weapons: (2 freeze baguettes + 1 crit) (1 freeze baguette) extras: (lacking tokens to upgrade this one) and all other IH items including the not-yet-to-use Swashbuckle

Scrolls: (too low on AP (27/28) ;_; )

I guess I'm lacking a decent freezer and blocker...

If you are serious about battling, you should really consider investing in some better constants, as they will in turn help you earn more weapons with tougher challengers - so the weapons should pay for themselves in the end, especially as your pet is already T9.

Generically speaking, some great weaps to have at T8: Prodigy Staff, Blessed Trident of the Banished One, Reviver of the Lion, Scientist Specs, Rapier of Error, Shinwas Temple Shard, Rainbow Vortex

3 of them are earnt from challengers, the Pstaff/Trident are good constants, the RotL is a 2nd heal, the specs is a 100% freezer, and RoE is a no-heal constant with a nice curse that lasts 5 turns iirc, and % freeze, and the last two are blockers (OPB)

You also need to build up your AP, I spend last weekend ready to my T8, got her up to around 60 AP by reading books up to around 200k each.

None of this helps you beat NL really, since I don't have a T9 to test, but since you are short on both AP, Scrolls and Weapons, it depends on how invested you are to beat NL, if you cannot even get her down to 50%

At T8/T9, I would say the safest strategy is to rely on freezes, so probably you would be trying a formula like: Icy Freezing Rod of Doom + Malignant Rift Staff + Divine Denizhen Scroll (If freeze does not work, withdraw, heal and restart) Item Hunters Bomb + Malignant Rift Staff + Perilous Whirlpool Scroll (If freeze does not work, withdraw, heal and restart) Item Hunters Bomb (Or Replica Minotaur Knocker if bomb broken) + Malignant Rift Staff + Perilous Whirlpool Scroll (If freeze does not work, withdraw, heal and restart) (If freeze does not work, withdraw, heal and restart) Item Hunters Bomb (Or Replica Minotaur Knocker if bomb broken) + Malignant Rift Staff + Terra Spire Scroll <- No idea what this scroll does, but hope it has offence

From experience you will know if you can survive a Constant+Constant+Divine Denizhen Scroll turn with NL, or you need to use PQuill.

This is obviously not an ideal strategy, but you can try and see how far you can get with your own set, normally people might be happy to help with a weapon or something like that, but you are short quite a few things from what I would say could be a fairly easy win or 3 for you.

thanks for the "guide" :) Got her at least down to <2500 and the terra spire does 10 icons.

I guess I'll take out all my boosters now and have some fun with 'em and buy a RoE and the specs since those are affordable cheap. The rest will have to wait a bit longer, maybe the PStaff not, but everything else above 50m :D I'll have a look at my books as well. Should I get myself a Cobalt Eternal when i have the sufficient AP?
