I think sorting by token type into tabs + an event tab would be just fine, especially with subcategories within the event tab -- so, active holiday challengers, + random event challengers if you've got one activated, + active plot challengers + anything else that might fit [nothing I can think of].

A star designating unlocked opponents would be nifty, though.

I'd also like to see them re-ordered in general . . .There's a few listed in the first row that honestly belong in the second. But, the ranking gets more sensible the higher it goes on the current page.

they are ordered alphabetically within their difficulty groups (easy, medium, hard, very hard, extremely hard, impossible)

Okay, that makes slightly more sense. I still think it would be more user-friendly to rank them easiest to hardest all the way down.

it's not so simple though, a lot are on par with each other, there isn't a list of who is harder than who... that would be too subjective.

total stats might work, to provide a rough idea of difficulty. It would at least put very weak enemies [Willowisp] in front of slightly tougher enemies [Eclipse]. A lot are on par with one another in that manner and of course some are easier/harder depending on their stat builds and the stats of the pet you're using, but improvement is improvement, no? I will admit this applies mostly to the easy enemies. But, since they're the ones new players look at first, it might be nice to get them set in a sensible order, if we're going to alter the way that page looks at all.

I think alphabetically makes most sense, it makes them easier to find. it would be nice to see their difficulty group return to the page, so the easy ones are labeled with easy, mediums with medium, and so on

Yes! At the very least, I would love to see this return.

Yes, please. I never know what I'm supposed to be looking for when we get event challengers, lol.

They can look at the stats on the side, it's pretty clear that Eclipse has higher stats than Willowisp. That's why the stats are visible, you know?

It wouldn't work to add core stats because there are cases like Uilliff (who has 10 Defense) that would be thrown lower than they should be.

I think alphabetical is good. It'll be even more CLEAR, however, once there are tabs that it's alphabetical by difficult.

Okay, now it's even HARDER to tell the difficulty classification of opponents. Like the new fox challenger! It's under event, but there is only one other opponent under event. HOW DIFFICULT IS THE FOX?!?

Yeah if you spend enough time in the coli you get to know approximately what difficulty each challenger is but for people who are new to battling or who would just rather have a quick way to tell it's annoying.

Could we please get little icons or text that say what difficulty each opponent is? Even just having "Difficulty: Medium" or whatever somewhere in their mini profile on the challenger page would be really nice.

I will love you forever if you trade me:

What I, and others, said in BC chat about this:

Quote by ColdDragon
I was hoping it was by token drop difficulty.
This just make battling with multiple pets and trying to move through the difficulty level more challenging. Oh well, I&;ll adapt.
[Quote=Jess] ColdDragon Like, having the opponents sorted into tabs by Easy, Medium, etc? I actually really like that idea. Oh well :P[/quote]
Quote by ColdDragon
Exactly. Then just have event/plot challengers in their own tab while those are going on.

Why do you care if I got a challenger by default, found them or bought them? That only matters before you have them so you can get them.

I don&;t know if difficulty tabs are the way to go. First off, that&;d mean there would be 7+ tab of opponents. And there&;s quite a few opponents that straddle the difficult lines. If/when we&;re able to alter what tokens the opponents drop, the sorting by difficulty would no longer make any sense.

Quote by ColdDragon
Also they are still sorted that way in each tab. All the easy alphabetically, then all the med alphabetically, so on and so forth. It is really that hard for someone to beat all the medium in the medium tab and then go "hmmm I think I should now try the hard tab". Its a completely logical progression.

And for the ones that are on the line between difficulty, they are still follow the above pattern based on their token drop. It&;s not like they sometime drop one lower token and sometimes drop the higher token. If a challenger is on the line then it would be the first or last one to beat in it&;s category depending on which side of the line it&;s on.

If a challenger&;s token gets changed in the future, just flip it into the difficulty tab matching the token it now drops.

And that's pretty much where it ended. BAs don't like showing or sorting by difficulty so it is what it is. shrug
