First off, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, it really means so much to me.
My appointment went pretty well. The doctor said I have a bulging disc, and small bone spurs on my 4th, 5th and 6th cervical spine. Because of all my health problems and being on Immuno-suppressant drugs for as long as I have, he said surgery wouldn't be a good option for me because the fusion might fail and infection is a very strong possibility due to my immune system. They are going to try there best to put a rush on getting this epidural injection. I'm hoping to get it before I leave for Oklahoma, if not, it will be rough... but I couldn't and wouldn't miss this for the world.. I really pray that this shot will give me my quality of life back! Thankfully I have my muscle relaxers and Norco and that will help me to get through the trip.

SO many things going on here this week as it's Homecoming Week! My oldest has events pretty much nightly with the Dance happening on Saturday, which means she has a couple of friends over to get ready that evening as well sigh

We don't have school this Friday or next Monday, so I was hoping to sneak in a ME day. Maybe tomorrow! Today has been taken over by some last minute errands I found out about late last night kicks hubs

Yarn, I hope the insomnia doesn't last long. You're always so busy, you need your sleep!!! I hope your daughter has lots of fun getting ready together with her friends for Homecoming. That's sometimes the thing you remember the best, more than the event itself. My daughter is a hair dresser so her girls always had their friends come over to get ready for events and get their hair done. My daughter had as much fun as the girls did.

It must be such a relief to know what was causing all of that pain Terry and have a doctor that cares enough to get that appt. for the injection as soon as he could. I pray it works really well and you can enjoy the trip and wedding. I know it must mean the world to Nik that you be there and feel well.

Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend, I know I am. The husband and I are fixing to tackle our attic, this should be fun. Discovering lost treasures and most likely lots of junk but it's time we did it. Have not touched it since we lost his mom three years ago and his dad went almost sixteen years before that and the attic is full of both of their things, he says he's ready. So may be an emotional weekend as well.

Anyone else preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas? I'm already shopping, trying to get it all done before that holidays hit, so maybe this year I can actually just relax and enjoy most of my holidays instead of running around like a chicken with my head cut off lol.

That sounds like a big, interesting project. I pray it brings back lots of happy memories for your husband. I'm preparing for Thanksgiving because it's on Saturday here in Canada. Haven't given a thought to Christmas yet though.
