tl:dr We've already got sundae to un-dae and eclair to eeklair and hotdog to notdog. Beer and ale go to bleer and stale ale. I think these coined names are fun and the names alert us right away just what kind of foods they are. There should be more foodnames like this.

Recently the orthographically gifted have changed it so that all doughnuts the same, instead of having donuts and doughnuts.

The doughnuts for the unliving could retain their original idea of having an unique spelling of their name, and could be called Do-Nots.

The turnovers could be called overturns or churnovers.

Mousse could be called grousse.

Either pustard or disgustard for the custard pastry twists. (So there'd be a Pus Disgustard Pastry Twist).

The Stews could be Steeuwws (so Mystery Steuww or Bone Steeuww).

Blood Zombie Condiment - Blechtsup or Bloodchup Snot Zombie Condiment- MucMustard Pus Zombie Condiment- Slayonnaise Brain Zombie Condiment- Grey Matter Poupon

Pastry Sandwiches could be Macaruins

Filled pie slices to be peye sleyess.

There might be any number of plays on words that would help mark out these foods as belonging to their own unique cuisine and culture that I didn't think of so if you think of something good suggest away.

Duplicate names was my reasoning.

I mean, I'd love to actually have Lime-Dipped Biscotti, Delicate Lemon Puff Pastry, Delicate Lime Wafer or Blueberry Filled Pie Slice that look delicious.

But we can't because the item names are taken by zombie foods. If all zombie foods had terrible puns/gross names, it would free the names for potential things that are look and taste good. I feel like the ones I gave above really clash with other zombie foods.

The ones I named above are fine, for the item pic wise. It's the name that doesn't match to me.

My original post wasn't all that long, I've been adding in names as they occur and as other users like. The first sentence says the purpose of this Suggestion, it's fun and it marks out the foods as zombie foods. Not every Suggestion has to be all dour and serious and world-shaking, IMO.
