Yes I'm using blunderbuss and reborn icewand of doom!!! And the Frost thorn is good on him too! (Doesn't seem to freeze him though)

he's freeze proof. does frost thorn do a lot of water? water is good for him since it gets through his defense. you can try using dark water potions on him too if you equip a bunch to your pet.

[edit] Beat him 9 now and going to try for 10 in a few. I'm equipped with 8 and only needed 1 for the last battle!!

blunderbuss is a water weapon :p reborn ice wand of doom might do some water too, not sure. there aren't many good water weapons until later, because you need them for forj too.

it is in the event tab and they recently released it so you may have to donate some more to the bonfire.

yeah a new one in the cash shop came out today. there are a bunch. anything in the books tab with "research notes" in the name is a challenger.
