You should get the exterminator to spray the perimeter of your house then, or they sell perimeter sprays too which work okay I think

Yikes! Now I get why you are dreading the drive! When we drive that far, hubby drives 5 hours, then I drive 1 or 2 and switch back. lol

I got some thai basil today :) the garlic won't grow in heat, so gotta try that again in october. I think I overwatered my cayenne pepper because I mistook it wilting for lack of water, not wilting due to heat. the pineapple sage is sensitive to heat, and I think the heat killed my dill and is working on killing my fennel. the catnip doesn't like it too but it's probably fairing the best

The basil might not mind the heat, but too much sun might not be good. I'm not positive, since it's Thai, maybe it can take more sun. That sucks that so many didn't make it! :-( I'm not surprised about the dill. Mine didn't do well last summer and we had periods of intense heat. Dill is one of my favs too!

I guess it's a trial and error thing. So far tomatoes have been our best crop. And blueberries. We planted another blueberry bush last year and it has berries!! :-)

it says full sun but I'm skeptical if things that say full sun should really take full sun out here lol I think dill does better in milder humid climates. I don't ever use dill haha.

yeah it's a learning process xD you should grow huckleberries instead :P

I got cool angry birds 3d glasses with it so that was worth it. but other than that, eh not really. I think 3d is overrated personally
