During the dwarves dealings with King Rageien, his beautiful queen & young daughter marched into the room, with no apparent thought at interrupting their conversation. Rageien noticed them enter, but never heeded his wife any thought. He only darted with his gaze to his daughter & focused on her for a few seconds before assuming his concentration to the dwarven brothers again.

As Harsk had knelt down in front of the King, offering the magnificent bloodiron blade, Rageien rose up from his throne & made his way down the throne stairs. His steps were silent & calm, making it seem like he was walking on water.

He bowed down to Harsk and stretched out his right hand, as if to receive the blade. He then grabbed the hilt, pulled the blade out of it's sheathe & twirled it around. It gave off a red shine that showed a beautiful but scary dance of spattering blood. "A fine weapon. I think it suits my personality just fine. Thank you, my lords. He flipped the sword upside down nonchalantly, the point of the blade echoing with a clang to the ground. The king gave off a disturbingly excited smile, as he rested his hands upon the hilt of the blade.

"But, you are too kind. I am not sure what kind of gifts from my kingdom that would be able to please you." He paused. As the Queen & princess made their way out of the throne room, the King resumed his thought.

The dwarves seemed to wait for him to continue. He then peeked to the other corner of the throne room. A temptress had made her way into the room. Suddenly the King's eyes glared with irritation.

"You! Wench!" He shouted with a booming voice. Out of the shadows next to the seductive mistress, a giant plated demonic knight morphed into place. One that looked just the same as the ones before, like the ones that forced the guard into the deep dungeons below.

She yelped but didn't scream, as the monstruous knight grabbed her midriff held her tightly in it's grip. "I've had enough of you impudent underlings! Take her to the chamber, make sure to-" He interrupted his speech. Then he gazed to the dwarves, who both looked like they didn't approve of the king's command.

Ooc: I will reply as Elizabeth soon, hang on.

The young assassin was done for the day with her mission, and was now back to the castle. She had the head of the man from a criminal in the sack. She also had that ring which belonged to Rageien. Valerie have a lot of questions and wanted answers from him. Why did her father and grandparents have to die? Why was this ring there, had her family done something to the Kings dislike? She couldn't help but think that Rageien was involved somehow.

The daughter of Valyria stopped by in the horse stables and left her horse there. Valerie took the rather big sack and hung it over her left shoulder while she walked her way to the gates. Some of the guards eyed her, she glanced at the two men who soon let her in by the gate.

When Valerie passed by the port doors not to far away there is the training courtyard, with men from the Kings soilders training, all from her age to older men. She herself used to train there aswell but it had been a few weeks since she was training with others. She mostly trains by herself these days, and not around people that much anymore. She glanced over at the soldiers, then grabbed a better grip around the sack over her shoulder and walks her way into the castle.

Valerie walked in the long hall way, it was dead quiet in here but suddenly she could hear a woman scream coming from the throne room. The doors were half open. She have no clue the King had guests from the other relam over today. But Valerie walks to the door and peeked inside, where the huge, armored creature in black, holding the lady with it's massive hand. She cried out in fear, and it was ready to tear her apart. The King just stood there and eyed the two short-statured men from another relam. Valeire could now see the two was dwarves. ”Shit...” She then looked at the black metal guard, that was about to break the woman with it's gaint hands.

Valerie had to act fast and it was now or never. She threw the door open, drops the sack with the head inside and with smoothly steps she ran into the throne room. Her steps barely heard as she swung up her dual swords by her sides and threw the blade upon the black armour guards arm, in which it held the crying woman. If this meant Valerie lost her contract or losing her life, it didn't matter. She couldn't let an innocent person get murdered like that.

She could see from the corner of her eyes, that the King’s dark eyes lit up with suprise. A sort of fire burning inside them. She barely dodged when a huge arm swept towards her. The King carefully observed the scene of the girl fighting with all her power.

The assassin kicked the guard by the neck-like structure and gained some time to land behind it, she was ready with her swords and cut threw the metal armour, in the back of it's shoulder blades. But, her attack was blocked. From something she didnt see, but she couldn’t cut through the armour.

”Why doesn't it work, what is this thing?” She thought while she was slammed to the side of the room and in the wall with such a force and strength by the gaint.

The king was quietly enjoying the scene, the fight was in his likes and he kept quiet to see more of it. He honestly didn't want the best of his assassins to die, it was such a waste. He continued to watch her get up on her feet, spit out blood and ran up to his massive guards arm again for a new blow. But yet again, she was thrown away and this time down in the floor, making the floor crack.

The King then begun to clap his hands and started to approach the girl. The giant backed away, when the king walked up to her. She coughed up some blood, and looked up at the King.

”Yes, your father is dead because of me. For being an assassin, you sure are slow in figuring out the details.” He spoke up and his eyes were cold as ice, like so was his voice. Valerie's eyes lit up with rage, when he confessed that he was behind it. She had to hold her blades and cut them down to the ground in order to get up with balance. ”You’re such a strong girl, don't you think this was a little unnecessary? I'd be willing to forgive this, if you would only pledge yourself to me, once again.” The king had spoken.

”I rather kill you, then pledge myself to you.” She spat out some more blood and took her blades, with that the human eye couldn't catch. The monstrous guard stood infront of the King and grabbed Valerie by her neck, The king was safe but a deep cut on his cheek was open and bleeded. When he was about to say something to her, the gigantic guard-thing took off it's helmet and under was only shadow which swallowed the girl whole. The guard then suddenly swept away like a shadow melding with the environment, leaving the King and the Dwarves in the throne room.

Valerie opened her eyes, laying on what felt like smooth sand. Pain suddenly shooting out of her side. The adrenaline had worn off. She prepared for more pain, as several of her ribs felt broken & her face was swollen. ”What is this place?”

(( , , . Oh hey, I noticed there has kind of been some powergaming going on, which, in the case of Linnea and Kaff, I guess I understand, because you both seem to be playing the king? I'm not quite sure how that is working, but I've also noticed it, such as when Kaff said "Then he gazed to the dwarves, who both looked like they didn't approve of the king's command." which, I can understand its just a small thing, but it is something to look out for. I try hard not to do it, so if I do, hey call me on it, cause its a bad habit to have. Its especially bad during battle scenes, but we haven't had any really that didn't involve npcs, so that hasn't come up. ))

Dolgrin had reached for his axe the moment the dark mystic guard crawled from the shadows. Even as the king turned to look at him and his brother, his hand still rested on the grip. When the woman ran in swords pulled, Dolgrin finished letting the axe loose from its strap, and wielding it. He made a step forward, but only one, before Harsk raised his hand and spoke in dwarven. "Wait."

Harsk's voice was calm, and so was his composure. He simply stood still, watching the event as it unfolded. His eyes widened momentarily as the guard removed his helm, and only shadow was revealed, which spread like a toxic fog, swallowing the girl before it and the girl vanished back into the shadows. Before the king had turn back to them, Harsk had regained his calmness, and lowered his arm.

Dolgrin was seething, almost trembling with anger. Anger at what he was witnessing, within the King's own throne room, and anger at his brother, for allowing it to happen. When it was over, and his brother lowered his arm, Dolgrin couldn't move forward, locked in place by an overwhelming hatred of what he had seen. He looked to his brother, who stared straight ahead, seemingly unbothered by the events, and Dolgrin lowered his axe to the floor, and spoke in dwarven, once again. "Whatever you and Rogar think you gain from dealing with these humans, is not worth selling our souls to monsters and murderers. I'll be outside when you're done." Dolgrin turned his back from the king, one hand strapping his axe back, and the other, in a few steps, pushing open the large chamber door leading back to the courtyard. He stepped through, allowing the door to swing closed behind him.

Harsk watched for only a moment, furrowing his brow, his shoulders sinking. When he turned back to the king, he had regained his neutrality, and lowered his head in a bow. "Your majesty, please excuse my escort and his . . . outburst. I believe our strenuous trip and the sudden . . . disruptions caused him much stress. If I may suggest, your majesty, that perhaps I and my escort could rest from our trip, and recuperate our strength and . . . senses, and continue the trade discussion after a time, without further interruptions, so that the business can be done swiftly and easily. " Harsk paused several times while speaking, trying to choose the best words.

Dolgrin walked down the hallway, staring at the ground and mumbling to himself, a scowl on his face. He did not notice Roselynnin front of him, until he bumped into her. He instinctively backed away and reached for his axe, but lowered his hand when he saw who it was, not a guard, but a young elven woman, shorter than any elf he'd seen, and not a stick like they usually are. He was about to mumble an apology and go about his way, when he realized the woman was only clad in her undergarments, and he frowned, speaking to her in the common human language. Dolgrin's human tongue was harsh and butchered, much like many dwarves who spoke it. " Yer King's broth'l be back that way, so ye best be getting back there 'for he finds ye an' get's 'is deamon guard ta eat ya."

Ooc: I'm sorry that i havnt said it earlier, and i live together so he knows what i'm writing. And we switch a little when it comes to the King. Why we made the fight scene, is becasue an important character Valerie is going to meet, which will be played by Kaffe. This character are basically the main villian in the story, the king is just a chesspiece. Again, we're sorry if we left you confused, hope this helped a little!

Elizabeth was quitly reading the letter for herself, which she had gotten from King Rogar. While she hold the little box with the necklace in her hand.

The letter begun...

"To the crowned Princess, Elizabeth Sardothien.

I felt it was necessary to explain the significance of the necklace which my representative bestowed upon you. The ruby, placed center of the necklace represents you, your home, and your human kingdom. More often than not, humans are the center of many things, of celebrations, and of wars. But you are not alone, around you are all other beings. We who live in the mountains, we Dwarves, are represented by the sapphires. Although we live below the mountains, their symbol of power and grace is not lost on us. We are humbled by their size and power, and if the mountain wishes to collapse on our tunnels, our cities, it will do so. The Emeralds, filled with green life of the forest, represents the Elves. The elves above all others know the power that nature has over those in her domain. Though they do not understand the earth as we Dwarves do, they understand the forests of their home, and the balance that must be kept. They too are humbled, by the sheer vastness and beauty of the forests, which, as nature does, follows its own code, and cares not for who dwell in it. I do not mean to go on, but in essence, I hope this necklace is a reminder when you are Queen, that although you are at the center of things, that you look beyond that center to those around you, to look at the mighty mountain of the Dwarves or the vast forests of the elves and be humbled at their majesty. It is a dangerous thing when a man cannot be humble.

Until the day of your Coronation, Rogar"

After reading the letter, Elizabeth placed the necklace around her neck and let it rest on her collarbone. She ran two fingers over the red ruby, which sparkled by the sunlight. She thought of the words the king had written for her, she understood what was coming. She needs to gain trust from people and to be hope for everyone where she will rule.

”This necklace will alway remind me. Thank you.” She smiled to herself and then was back to the reality, hearing someone was sneaking on her from not a far distance by all the flowers and trees. She then heard one of the guest speak, Dolgrin. She stood up from the stone bench and she saw Roselynn and Dolgrin not far away where the crown princess herself was. The princess smiled and giggled to see her little maid in underwear, she telt obviously sorry for the girl.

"Rose, what is going on out here?" Elizabeth smiles, when she had walked up to the two. She eyed the elven girl, she reached her hand out for Rose to take it. Then her turquoise and kind eyes lend to Dolgrin. "Is everything alright, Dolgrin?" She ask and raised her eyebrow. The princess obviously didn't know the terrified scene which just had happend in the throne room.

Rose had now not only bumped into an honored guest of they royal family, but she had done so whilst wandering around in her underwear no less! She was already blushing extremely hard, just from having been seen like that, and it was a rational (although humiliating) conclusion to come to that she was a prostitute, when Elizabeth came out to see such a lewd and inappropriate scene, especially after she had helped Rose the night prior, that was just too much. The poor girl starts to cry in humiliation. "F-Forgive me, princess! I ov-overslept, and wh-when I awoke I-I was without my nightgown, or any other form of clothing! I-I was simply looking for something to hide my shame..! I-I never meant to harm anyone!!" Roselynn knew that she was in some deep trouble, and that scared her quite a bit. She crawled backwards to get away from the dwarf man, and in the process she accidentally manages to grab hold of a curtain, and yank it down on top of herself, scaring her further. She flails around in the curtain, screaming and crying in fear and humiliation. The poor girl seems to be tangled in it

Dolgrin rubbed his temple for a moment, and then sighed. He was still angry, but he felt guilty for directing that anger towards the young woman. With his palms outstretched, he reached forward and gently took hold of the curtain, beginning the process of helping the woman untangle herself. "Calm ye down now, lass. Ye strugglin' will jest make it worse. Be caref'l o' tha curtain pole, now. Ye dinnet want ta be 'it on yer 'ead, eh?"

Dolgrin gingerly pulled here and twisted there, working to untangle the woman long enough to get her face exposed from under the curtain. When Dolgrin could see her, he gave a small smile. "Ye thinkin' maybe ye can do tha rest? Or ye be needin' more help?"

"Again!" Jason shouted. "If the city were overrun by our enemies right now, what would you do?!"

"Protect the kingdom with our life, sir!" The guards yelled.

"You would fall over and die! This is why we train! So each and every one of you will overcome the odds of our enemies and fight for your kingdom! Now, advance!" Jason yelled back at the squadron of guards.

For every advance Jason called, the men would take a step forward in unison. Every retreat was met immediately with two steps back. For every strike to be called, the guards would extend their spears out from the safety of their shield, just to recover back to their original position. Each formation was made sure to be executed perfectly, unless the guards would return to the start. Finally, after what must have been over two hundred attempts or so, the guards managed to cover the entire training field twice over.

"Good. Now get some water and meet at the dining area for you rations when supper comes. We will repeat this process tomorrow. You are all dismissed!" Jason stated aloud, to the cheers of the men. It seemed like the lieutenant wasn't even close to pushing his men this much. Jason was slightly disappointed, although that would change soon enough. These guards might just turn out decent soldiers yet.

"I suppose I'm off for the day as well. Right after I report to the king to make sure he is not in need of assistance or the like." Jason thought to himself with a slight smile. With that, he ventured back into the castle once more.

As Jason reached the hallways just two chambers down from the king's throne room, he was met with the sound of screaming. Frowning, he rushed around the corner, sword drawn, and was met with a... Peculiar sight. A servant had herself tangled in a curtain, whilst the princess simply stood by with who Jason assumed to be one of the two dwarven guests he'd heard about. Jason closed his eyes and sheathed his blade. The only thing truly hurt was the kingdom's pride as the servant flailed and cried like a baby.

"You're lucky I'm off duty." Jason said with a sigh. He began to step toward the girl, but the dwarf seemed to be on it already, helping the servant enough to expose her head and shoulders. It seemed as if the girl was only wearing her undergarments, which was questionable to say the least, although Jason didn't say anything. Instead, he turned to the princess who idly stood by.

"I hope you are alright milady." Jason said, his hand resting on the ornate pommel of his blade.

Lorcan also heard the screams. He quickly decended the stairs, shouldering through soldiers as he went, scooping up his shield and spear.

He rounded the corner to find Jason and a dwarf untangling the same servant who bumped into the King in the jail block. He lowered his shield and spear.

"....is she crying?" He busted out laughing, unable to contain himself. He bent over, dropping his shield and spear, putting his hands on his knees.

After he wiped a tear from his eye, he took a few deep breaths, but his body still shook with laughter. "The elven must be extremely sensitive people. Eireans typically stop crying at a young age. Oh, wow, a dwarf outside his kingdom, a rare sight indeed! Hoo-boy, today is proving ta be an interesting day! Say, Jason..." He picked his effects back up, putting the spear on his back, shield on his side.

"I need to talk ta your King. He owes me money up front for working for him. 200 gold. Think ya can get me an audience with him right now? Need to call out ta me pet, who's flyin' around here somewhere, before she goes off ta roost for the night!" He asked, chuckling a little bit, before noticing the other young woman here with them. He nodded, not pieceing it together, from her fancy clothes and jewellery, to how she held herself, who she was.

Elizabeth also helped Rose to untangled herself. Which Dolgrin already were fast to help her with and soon the girl were free from the mess.

The crown princess had her white and warm hooded coat over her shoulders. Which keept herself a little warmer, she thought the right thing to do was to give the elven girl her coat. The castle are always cold and to keep yourself warm you needed meny layers of clothing, or a lot of rum. Eliza took off her warm white coat from her shoulders, and she swept it around Rose. So the girl can hold herself warm and not to show herself in underwear. ”There, see it's no need to cry.” Elizabeth smiled to Rose and tried to calm the girl down. She then eyed the knight, Jason who has walked over to them and asked her if she were alright.

”Yes i am fine, thank you Jason.” The crown princess smiled, she rest her arms across over her chest from beginning to shiver by the cold winds which swept by. Suddenly a man she haven't met before, walks over to the group and starts to laugh of the scene. The princess raised her eyebrow and looked at the man.

”Gold you say?” She responds, ”I have plenty of it. I can give you 200 gold.”

”I guess you have a family, a family which are important to you.” She smiles and could figure it out by the mans age.

”If you work with me, you will see them. As often you want to." She pauses. "And you dont have to work under my fathers command anymore.” Elizabeth was telling the truth and she tired to gain trust from people. If she was soon about to rule the lands and break the wheel her father had builded, she had to act now if she wanted people on her side.

Lorcan cocked an eyebrow. From what the young woman was saying, she was the princess, next in line for the throne. But he grinned, tsk-tsking at her offer.

"I do have a family, but they are far, far away from here. I'm talking months of hiking to get back, and your father owes me 600 gold, 300 up front and 300 at the end of the month, he gave me 100 last night because that is all he had on him." He lied, mentally crossing his fingers as he spoke. 99% of the Kings he had ever met never told anyone other than their advisers their goings on, hopefully this King wasn't any different, for a 200 gold piece increase would be a major positive change.

"So, what'll it be, your royalty? It sounds like you need my help more than your ol' Pa in there..." Fingers still mentally crossed, he also began to wonder why the princess was reaching out to him for his line of work. That usually meant one thing, when a member of a family was trying to undermine another.

We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say "Kiss my Irish ass! ya better kiss my Irish ASS!"

King Rageien stood where he had before his prized assassin had cut him. He was ever so silent as Dolgrin left the throne room. There were no objections from his majesty. As Harsk started excusing himself & his brother, the King didn't raise an eyebrow. There was total silence.

Then, Rageien turned his head & stared towards Harsk's direction. He didn't really look at Harsk, but stared through him. "No, my friend. It is I that should apologize for my outburst of irritation." The King suddenly moved his eyes around, looking like he had woken up to a realization. "I have much to think about, brother Harsk. Leave me." Rageien's facial expression suddenly showed that he was troubled. The King wandered back to his throne, sat down with a lazy thump & held his chin in a pondering manner.

After a couple of seconds, he spoke with a half-quivery voice. "Guards, seal the room gates when brother Harsk leaves. Make sure noone enters. I need to rest." His words were final.

Elizabeth raise her eyebrow, when the man spoke about how much money the King owes him.

”So he figured it out, huh?” She thought and a sly smile lays on her lips. ”You’re right about that. I’m going to need a lot of help. And yes, i need more help then even my old papa can't imagine.” She responds.

”During those past years, i have saved many lives from been dragged into chains as slaves.” She spoke, and eyed the man, the knight, the dwarven and the elven girl who were all listening to her words. ”I have my word on that i will stop every slavery in this Kingdom and stop our King, from going any feature of what he already have done to us.”

”I am not giving you a order to follow me. I am giving you all a chance to change this Kingdom to a new one with me.” Elizabeth then stood quietly when people walks in the flower curtyard. It was not the most private place to be speaking openly about things like this.

”Follow me. We cannot speak about it out here.” Elizabeth had spoke and eyed everyone. She have the elven girl under her arm, so she would feel safe. The Crown princess leads the group the way inside to the castle walls.

The ground was mirroring the sky above with perfect clarity. But this wasn't home, no. The sky was a deep crimson, as was the ground. Black clouds loomed overhead with the ground reflecting the ominous nature of this place. It all stretched for miles, until it reached something that looked like an enormous, pearly white wall.

The wall itself stretched for what looked like a curve, seemingly forming a circle that was too great to imagine. But it was hard to make out, because when Valerie turned around to the opposite direction, there was another wall, closer to her. This wall, however, seemed to split through a corner in the middle, one wall going askew to the left, the other slanting to the right. Both sides respectively seemed to reach the perfectly white marble-like curved wall but on opposite sides. It almost resembled something she had seen before.

"Could it be.. No, that's not it." She thought to herself, confused at her surroundings yet still strangely felt a familiar feeling.

Harsk bowed to the king again, and left the throne room. As the door closed behind him, Harsk paused, his breathing suddenly heavy. Just the sight of that shadow guard swallowing that woman made him want to flee, but he held his ground and kept the appearance of control. Now, out of sight of the King, his grip on that previous calmness was gone. Harsk began walking back toward the courtyard, calming himself with deep breaths. Although his walking started out shaky, his footfalls soon became firm, and he regained a measure of control. It wasn't long before Harsk could hear talking in the corridor, and just before the exit into the courtyard, he saw five people, his brother and the princess among them. He stepped toward them, just as the Princess asked them to follow, to speak in private. Harsk did not know what conversation they had been having, but if Dolgrin was going, so was he.

Dolgrin was not watching the hall behind him, but he heard the footsteps approaching. He almost reached for his weapon, but realized, even before turning around, that the footsteps were that of a dwarf's, not a human's. "I not 'ave nothin' ta say ta ye." Dolgrin did not turn around, but simply began to follow the princess, as she started to lead the group away.

Harsk began to walk quickly, in order to catch up with the group. He matched pace with Dolgrin, who turn his head away. Harsk spoke softly, just to his brother. "You may have nothing to say to me, Dolgrin, but I have plenty to say to you. . . But that can wait another time, what is this about?"

Dolgrin frowned and turned back to his brother as they walked, careful to keep his gaze ahead. "This not be f'r ones who be lickin' tha king's boots, can tell ye that." Harsk did not reply, but allowed his brother to get a step ahead, and followed the group as it traveled through the castle.

King Rageien sat on his throne, pondering upon the events that had unfolded before his eyes. After several minutes of stillness, he shot up from his throne & started to walk down the throne chairs. He walked slowly at first, then faster. As if he had panicked, he walked with great strides toward a door that was positioned to the right of the throneroom. When he reached it, he pulled the door open, walked through & slammed it behind him with great urgency.

He made his way through the room, which was a room with a stair that led up to the King's private chambers, and a spiral stair that led down to a wine cellar. He went up to his chambers. When he finished the climb, he fumbled for his royal key. He unlocked the majestic doors & went straight through his room, to a table that sort of looked like that of an alchemists. There were fluids, herbs & organic parts put in jars all over the desk. He sorted through different things until he found a square-shaped box. The box was rather small, not much larger than a hand. He picked it up, then he darted for the throne room again.

When he had reached the throne room, he wandered over to behind the throne itself, where there seemed to be only a small concrete wall that connected to the back of the throne itself. It was almost as if the entire throne room had been hollowed out of an enormous rock, as the floor was also connected to the throne & the walls. There was no separation between the structure of the room.

To each side of the concrete that was connected to the throne, there was the king's sigil. A circle with a six-pointed star in it. He opened the box with another key, and in the box there laid a flask with a crimson substance. The box was set aside & the King pulled the flask up from it's casing. He flicked away the cork from the flask in his hand, then poured a small amount of the red substance upon his other hand. He then streaked the substance across the sigil on the left side, then he walked over to the right side & did the same.

Suddenly, the star on each side started to fall in on themselves, shaping into a red mass. The King was astounded each time he saw this, since it was basically moving pictures on walls. It transformed. Then, the red masses took the shapes of spirals & started to spin around, just like a vortex.

As he looked at the swirling picture on one side, he reached up with his hand. The ring on his pinky started pulsating, and ontop of the small concrete connection, a formation was made, between the two sigils on each side. The top concrete had sunken in, forming a small bowl in which the King poured a small amount of the red liquid.

Then, he pulled his ring off, held it above the substance-filled bowl & dropped it into the liquid.

He walked down the throne stairs, turned around & faced the throne in which he otherwise always sat. Then he knelt, lowered his head & started to control his breathing.

The ring itself had absorbed the liquid, and started to hover in it's place. With the emblem pointing up, an image shot up. A large apparition that was terrifying to behold, at least to the king.

The King breathed out, then shifted his eyes upward toward the enormous apparition before him & spoke. "My Lord."

Jason frowned. Was the princess planning on overthrowing his highness? Wait... Did Lorcan just swindle the princess out of an extra 200 gold? Jason distinctly remembered that it was only 200 gold that was agreed upon in the dungeons, not 600. Eyes narrowed, Jason eyed Lorcan as he lied straight to the princess' face. Jason decided not to say anything, as to not interrupt princess Elizabeth as she spoke. Too focused on the man's lying, Jason simply walked with the group, completely forgetting about Elizabeth's supposed plan.

Jason listened as the other dwarf appeared, although the rougher-looking one seemed to be angry at him for some reason. They were talking about something involving the king. Jason slowed down to fall back to the two, walking beside Dolgrin, saying "What's this about his highness?"

Lorcan cocked an eyebrow, the princess turning and walking off, assuming he'd follow.

And she was right.

He walked behind her, his eyes darting around the room. What an odd assortment of 'friends' she has gathered. Especially the young officer, the young elite guard amongst them, he could be loyal to the King, have her turned in and her head lopped off the next day.

They would soon figure out, Lorcan thought. "Where are you getting the money to pay me? Just curious..."

The crown princess lead the group to the stairs, which leads them up inside a secret room.

She opends the door wide, so everyone can enter the room. It has a large window, which let in plenty of sunlight, some decorations on the walls. There is also a sofa, with some blankets and pillows. Were Elizabeth use to sleep, when she stays up late at night after much work.

There are a lot of paperworks which leys on a large wooden table, the table is placed in the middle of the room, and the sofa are placed unto the corner against the wall under the window.

On the table is a large map which are outstretched and a played chessgame. The small wooden chessmen figurines, was thrown to the side and off the chessgames plattform, if not some of them was placed on the map.

More then a few thousands innocent humans lifes was taken under the war which was years ago. The once who had survived, had lost their families and everything they once had. The innocent souls was dragged into chains, down into the largest dungeon in Tarrassen which Rageien had built for his slaves. With no magic, around people anymore he was unstoppable with the dark force he had control over.

The crown princess have saved many lives of the humans who were in need for help. Her fiancé was killed during the war, with his man who also had magic in their bloodline. Like all the others who fighted against their King and his men, for justice and mercy. But with no magic, which Rageien had forbidden with the help of the dark force he used, the people lost.

She had done much as she can with her power to help and free people from getting killed, or dragged into the deepest dungeons in Tarrassen’s history. Now they are too many, she can't save everyone on her own.

Elizabeth have seen children die infront of her eyes, blood which been spilled everywhere and people begging for mercy to live. She knows it still goes on, and people who don't understand the logic and the truth behind it. Some believes the humans who are born with magic, were abandoned by their father "God", and the people now lives in the dungeon and not as slaves. Many people do not know the truth behind that their King is behind all of this, and he is the one who had forbidden magic, between humans. He are the one who had brought back chaos to the humans.

The guards which have murdured so many lives, and who are protecting the duengon are all demonic creatures. They are much taller than a normal human being, masculine builded and full steel armoured, a steel, even stronger than steel made by humans, it's something noone had seen before. Those creatures are not made by flesh and bones. They are something else, and created by someone with much power. They protect the dungeon, from noone to enters and noone leaves. They even lingers around in the castle.

There is no way Elizabeth can save all those lives by herself. She needs help or this will continue and their world might be swallowed by blood and darkness.

On a few paper works which are drawings of those monsterus guards. Elizabeth have captured every single detail to the drawings, from what they really looks like, and what they truly are.

She have also written down everything, of what she have seen as well with her own thoughts. She will never forget the day when she saw children, who were chained from their wrist, to ankles and dragged into the black mass of darkness. The feelings are really captured into the pictures, and her writing. Anyone who sees it can understand what really is going on in their world, it needs to put an end to it.

She walks over to her sofa and under it, she took out a small sack with the gold. She walks back to Lorcan, who had asked for his money, and she handled it to him.

Before he could grab a hold around it, she eyed him. ”Keep in mind. Everything in this life, is not about gold.” She then dropped her grip, and walks to the table where everyone know was circled around.

Elizabeth rest her hands on the table, and leans a little over with her upper body while she eyed everyone, who now stood circled around the table.

"If someone of you still want to follow my father's order, there's the door." The crown princess spoke aloud, and glanced over at the door.

"It is when you have a family to feed...." He eye-balled the coins in the bag, hanging it from his belt, nodding and grinning.

"Well, looks like I work for you now! And letting someone go who is still loyal to your Pa is a horrible, horrible idea!" Be looked around at the pictures, the only one he really paid attention to was the diagram of the demonic guard thing. He had yet to see one, so he wondered what it could have been, and where it could be found.

He knew the atrocities of the world, very familiar with what mountain raiders and what they would do to villages they raided, so people being chained and slaughtered really had no effect on him. Wasn't happening to him, wasn't his problem.

Harsk did not move, even as Dolgrin glared at him in accusation. Harsk sighed, glancing around the room to the papers, documents, and detailed drawings. "I can see the war took its toll on you, Princess. Although I missed what this meeting was about, it is not hard to guess. I will stay and listen." Dolgrin snorted loudly, the facade of quietness that he had held in the main portion of the castle gone. "Aye, ye can guess what this be all 'bout. Meetin' in tha shadow in a hidden room. This sort o' thing be f'r death deal'rs an' trait'rs. Ye'll haf' ta tell me which one ye be, eh?" Harsk rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration, muttering a curse before turning to his brother. "Have you no control o' what comes out o' your mouth, Dolgrin?" Dlogrin turned to his brother, frowning. "I ain't holdin' me tongue back no more ta'day, brother. Not aft'r what I saw in tha throne room."

Jason looked around the room as they entered. Strange drawings of shadowed beings lined the walls, all clad in black steel armor. Jason had to admit, the princess did have a broad imagination. Another thing he noticed was the chessboard and map. It seemed like the chess pieces were strewn about the table and map carelessly, without close inspection. The young knight couldn't believe how messy the Princess' room was. Where were the maids when you needed them? The elite guard wondered why the room was not cleaned and organized yet, taking the thought into account.

Jason narrowed his eyes at the former outsider's remark, but there was no malice in his voice as he spoke. “I can see why you are worried, although I'm not only loyal to the king. I will protect the entire royal family if need be.” He proceeded to turn to the princess. “I will not, however, play in this... Rebellion if I do not see that this is not simply your way of coming to power milady. If the king is truly as corrupt as you said he was in the hallway, then I will play along.” Jason then shrugged and simply stated “That, and I'm not on my shift right now, so I couldn't care less.” The young man simply plopped down on a cushioned chair, saying “There. I've said my piece.”
