Yes, you may try out for more than one ability :) Just know that you'll only be accepted for one. (We don't want any mary sues!)

Anyone can study to be one, I believe, but it's supposed to be really difficult to do so! I'm sure the Marauders wouldn't have been able to if James hadn't been so adept in Transfiguration and helped them. The only other ones we're introduced to are Minerva and Rita!

Yes it has to do with the population and how "rare" they might or might not be. Anyone can study to be an animagus, so I figured we would have more of those.

Your character will have the ability until you retire the character or leave the cult. If you never do those, then you'll have it forever.

Also; More slots will open up as the population of the RP grows, so if you miss out now don't worry, you could potentially get a slot later on.

I tried to reply to the SS post in a professional but firm manner, I hope I did that alright. My smail box is always open for suggestions for things for the club, and this goes for negative and positive. I'll try to listen to things from all perspectives. This SS post hurt me for many reasons, but mostly because of just the amount of work Mary and I put into this cult, only to have it ignored because someone didn't agree with one of our rules. I implore our members, that if they have any issues at all, to contact us personally so the members don't get dragged into something that they don't have to be involved in. I'm actually going to be doing the tryouts exclusively, and Mary will be helping judge. But, as long as you're signed up, you WILL get a chance to try out. We won't continue and pick the winners until everyone who has signed up has had a chance (be it one week or one month). We are in no rush to get these done, as it's not something thats very time crucial for the RP! I hope that answered your question.

I hadn't no. The tryout will be really easy and people shouldn't have an issue excelling at it if they're already writing great stuff in their RPs :)

absolutely! I actually play a ghost character in a Hogwarts rp on Tumblr! They're VERY fun and interesting!

she was a student, yes, but she died at school and sorta stuck around because her twin sister was still there, and their parents had passed away a couple years prior and she didn't want to leave her sister all alone.

In our rp, ghosts can't touch anything, but the poltergeists can.
