Welcome back to Subeta! If you get into battling, you won't have wasted unlocking the challenger as it's a good one to have (and valuable weapon drops on the 5th win!), but in future you can look up items you're not sure about in Subetalodge (linked below)

Your avatar is looking loaded for me, is it meant to be some other way? Sometimes there is a small cache delay before you see the avatar update, so if it is looking correct and saved in your wardrobe, then it should update sitewide shortly after.

I can't say I have heard much about that being issue, it may be the cache, but as I personally can't change my face due to my zombie skin, I'm not 100%
