Random, but Keith nerfed pings on the forums a while ago, something about trying to avoid spam pings (?? wat), so only up to 10 pings in a post will work at a time :/ What I usually do in this case is put the whole list up, then edit the post to separate the first 10 pings (that went through), it'll ping another 10 people, then edit again to separate those, and so on until everyone has gotten an alert. It's... really annoying though x_X Christmas "thank you" threads are going to be hard this year, lol.
