Imprimis, affectionately known as 'Prim', is the first in her order. The first to be... created. And the last to survive. Before the apocalypse of 2014 (see my pets Leroy, Francesca, Warne if interested), humans had been a powerful race, but in one fell swoop, a virus wiped out over 95% of their kind, leaving few remaining survivors, and leaving centuries of civilisation to fall into decay and ruin.

Earlier, much earlier, a scientist had devoted his life to creating the perfect female; immune to illness and disease, with the ability to conceive human children and pass on their DNA, creating perfect children, and spawning a race of perfect humankind. Each female created was named Helen, as in Helen of Troy/Sparta, the most beautiful woman on earth.

But of course, to play God is a risky game, and there were many failures with both the Helens and the children that were born. Imprimis was the first of many children, born in 1998, but where the others died, she lived on, growing healthy and strong. It seemed Helen I had been a minor success, and Imprimis was taught skill sets including self-defence and detailed biological science.

When the virus hit, Prim became a coveted commodity; if immune to all disease, she could hold the potential cure to the virus. Disguised as the scientists assistant, now 16 years old, she managed to escape at the cost of the scientists life. She knew now, that she must hide as a human survivor, her primary goal to conceive a child and pass on her immunities.

Long story short, her story begins in 2014, when a (zombie) virus outbreak plagues the earth. Prim escapes the lab, but it is destroyed along with her creator, 'the scientist'. She lives as a survivor, searching for other healthy humans, but forced to keep her identity secret at risk of death. She blends in easily as human, but tattooed on the back of her neck is the number I, marking her as the first of her kind.

Some notes on me? My last spotlight win (any my 9th) was on August 24th with Knot! I mostly see my pets as constant works in progress, and all but Saire are humanoid OCs. Perhaps Prim will be my ? I've been on the site for, as of this moment, 7 years, 4 months, 3 weeks, 4 days and should I adopt Prim, she will fill my 23rd pet slot. I'm relatively active on the pet forums, and work on my characters whenever I get the chance.

Interesting fact to add - I once owned Primrose, and in a fleeting moment of uncertainty, adopted her out and clearly made a poor decision, because she hasn't been touched since! It would be great to have a Prim 2.0 on my team!

I've been in your position before, wondered about downsizing, even leaving - but something always draws me back in. I hope that you don't stray too far from subeta! Good luck making a decision, adopting out is never easy.

I'm actually changing my idea for her, as the rebellious southern belle was my first and favorite idea for her, but that's pretty over-used in this thread already. I am in love with this new idea, though, and would run wild with it.

Similarly, rather than anthro, Dixie would be equine. A little Shetland pony of only 9-10h who belongs to a young (7ish) little southern belle, given to her by her wealthy parents. She is pampered and adorned with ribbons in her mane and tail. Her job is to give pony rides to her little girl and her friends and acquaintances. She lives on the family's lush southern plantation and should want for nothing...BUT... This tiny little pony has big dreams. She fantasizes about leaving her pampered life behind and running free with wild horses. She lives an alternate existence in her mind, the way a child fantasizes of being a superhero, and imagines being Dixie, the tough and adventurous wild pony. Whether she ever fulfils her dream..remains to be seen. There'd be more to it, but that's the brief gist.

Unfortunately, I've only recently started getting into doing anything with my pets, despite my 7+ years on Subeta, so I have little-to-no examples of what I could do with her. My first and only attempt thus far at a pet profile was for my baby girl RosieFrances, and I did that one completely on my own, trying to learn coding and such, thus she's not as fancy as most around here (but she's all from the heart). Dixie would be my top priority, though, and I wouldn't hesitate to dish out the time to work on her myself, or the sP to buy her the beautiful profile she deserves.
