The difference being that Pixar doesn't have a history of dropped and forgotten projects. When they announce a film, you know that they're actively developing it and that you will see the final product.

They also continue to hype it instead of pretending the hype never happened and then not mentioning it anywhere for months.
What subeta does is just give a very vague hints. and that's it. It's like your mom asking you on Jan 1st, how do you feel about having your favorite cold snack, such as Ice Cream, for Christmas. Then come christmas, you get a cup of ice.
- More like asking what you want for your birthday in July, and then not celebrating it because she's busy preparing for Christmas. "But don't worry dear, I haven't forgotten you."

My guess is that this is going to be used for the Blue Building revamp. When that'll happen, who knows?

It's been nearly 8 months since the contest ended, they honestly could have had, whatever the feature was, y'know, ready. In a timely manner after the contest ended. Now it's been so long that the wardrobe broke all to hell and basically ruined all the winners avatars too. That's how long it's been. Very disappointing. Why would you create a contest for something that isn't even ready then act like it never happened by never mentioning it again? Maybe in a year from the contest's end date we'll finally find out what it was for. :/
