Still, she got accepted into Hogwarts, and that lay a lot of her fears to rest. Determined to excel in the subjects that don't require too much magical strength of her, she discovered she has a talent for potions that is pretty much unrivaled among Hufflepuff students. By the time Periwinkle comes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin, Peridot has established herself as a bright, ambitious witch. She offers help when she sees others struggling in the more theoretical classes and is generally well-respected, even if she's gotten in a few verbal fights with students from other houses belittling her for being in Hufflepuff, despite her unconfrontational nature. There are few things that rattle her more than house rivalry. With the OWLs looming ever closer, Peridot is equal parts determined and anxious to prove her worth to the world, her parents, and herself -- even in Defense and Transfiguration, her two worst subjects. Meanwhile, she does her best to look out for her sister, who she suspects is struggling more with the ungracious attitude toward Slytherins than she is willing to let on.

Lacking confidence and initiative keeps him back in many cases, but his schoolwork has been suffering most from a strong desire to become an animagus. Training when he should be doing homework, it does seem to improve his studies in transfiguration and herbology. Otherwise you will find him by the lake, or watching the clouds from Ravenclaw Tower.

Suddenly Cinda looked behind her brothers and screamed. While they were looking behind them (in utter terror!) she pointed to their candy and made it float across the table to her bag. They were furious, she was delighted! *Goals: To succeed at Hogwarts and go on to become an Auror Bio: Cinda is the only girl in a fraternal set of triplets and descended from a long line of Squibs but somehow, someway, the magic returned. She knew she was different than the rest of her family from a very young age but didn’t know exactly why. Her brothers thought her very strange and her father (Jesse) was at a loss to explain it but her mother (Tori) knew. Her 5th great grandfather was a Wizard and stories of his greatness had travelled down through the generations. She also knew that one day, when her children were around 11 years old, the Owl would arrive and little Cinda must leave the family to attend a very special school. Jesse did everything he could to keep his only daughter at home with the family but Tori explained to him that when the Owl arrived Cinda must leave and there was nothing they could do to stop it. Time passed, every so quickly, and suddenly the triplet’s 11th birthday had arrived. Jesse and Tori spared no expense and gave their children the most marvelous party. Friends and relatives from all over the country arrived and a splendid time was had by all. Cinda looked around and saw all the people she loved most in the world and knew it would be a long time before she saw them again but instead of being sad she was very excited as she knew something wonderful was about to happen and she was ready for it.
