Living near the channel, her family decided she would attend Hogwarts instead of Beauxbatons like her cousins. She speaks semi-fluent Vietnamese and French and found Ancient Runes fascinating, but she simply did not have the patience to decode "all these angles and lines like please they're all starting to look the same", thank you very much. Luckily enough, she excels at Herbology and Potions and manages to stay awake through History of Magic. A decade after graduation she met a non-magical man and decided to settle down. Even though Fade exhibited signs of being a metamorphmagus like his grandmother, his parents didn't tell him that he was a wizard until the day his acceptance letter arrived. Using a combination of hair dye and shampoo, they kept their family secret quiet for as long as they were able. Attending Hogwarts for Fade is like living a dream.
