The buff was a nice thing for a while but it was too much, I didn't see a big difference in my profit. If I think about a discount that could really help here is if the discount cards would be used at the MC, SBQ and Antique shop and other sinks and future sinks.. and the buff will come rarely for the main shop.. but not like now after 5 restocks.. which is ridiculous.

I don't see this having any impact on the Discount Cards.

The buff was intended as a temporary measure and when it is removed it will likely make the cards more desirable

I think the shop buff should still be possible to get (albeit more rare than what it was). I don't think it should be cleared away forever. Buffs are little perks that are meant to make users happy and interested in an aspect of the game. Taking them away forever seems counterproductive, especially when they've already seen the light of day. Getting a little shop discount is a good idea for a buff. I think users would like the idea that it could possibly happen while participating in the NPC shops/restocking aspect of the site.

I rarely if ever spend my sP. Only on quests and buying stuff I really really want. Otherwise...nope

I can understand a decrease in the discount buff occurring and the length it stays, because there's no reason for it to last so long it's there all day, hours and hours later... But I wouldn't agree with getting rid of it completely.

I don't understand the argument to get rid of it "staff wants to draw sP out of the economy." ...yes. that's exactly why it should stay. If I have the buff I'm more likely to buy from an NPC shop.

example: NPC shop price: 2,000 user shop price: 1,995 Yes, it looks like it's cheaper to buy from the user shop, however, with the buff, I know for a fact it will knock down the price to be cheaper than the user shop, thus encouraging me to buy from the npc shop. Isn't that what staff wants?

I'm glad to hear that the Discounts Cards are staying. And the buff, I still seem to get it every day and today even after my third quests or so, I personally can live with that, the more or less automatic buff the months before was not really logical anyways imo.

The discount buff can go away completely for all I care. I enjoyed calculating the haggle, not having some discount automatically handed to me. Still really miss that.

It makes sense to me to at least limit the buff from how it performed upon initial release. I like the idea of having it appear rarely while restocking as a true bonus, sort of like the wizard quest buff only pops up here and there and not everyday. I'd prefer it not go away altogether, but if it does that's okay too. That's what our handy discount cards are for (really glad to hear those won't be changed). :)

Yeah, that buff was like the one thing keeping me restocking. It was so nice to just have. Pops up while questing "Well, better restock for a bit, since I get a larger discount." Now its like, meh.
