I also saw that recently, it was very much in the vein of the original film. As a nod to the books I guess, Mary Poppins in this one was actually mean sometimes.
The last film I kinda-sorta saw was Spiderwick Chronicles. So stupid, I only got one third of the way through before realizing I just didn't care what happened and that the plot was a recycling of Gnome Alone a movie I also didn't finish.
