I love this map. My favorite memory from the movie is difficult to narrow down because it's more a feeling. When I play the first movie I get this feeling of excitement that is difficult to describe. The opening song just brings me into the world of Harry Potter so that by the time the first scene even starts I am hooked. By the time I am through to the last movie, after the last scene I am quite sad that it's over.

It's like finishing a good series of books, you never want them to end. I never want to leave the magical world and lose that awesome feeling.

In case this does not qualify then I would say one of my favorite scenes is when Luna walks down the train wearing her cool glasses and sees HP.

Reading the series I always looked forward to what Professor Minerva McGonagall would say. Her introduction into Harry and Ron's perspective transfiguring from cat to human is very memorable. Maggie Smith played sassy and authoritative really well and I recommend Murder By Death for how she looked when she was younger, it's a movie based on Clue.

Humble Neville really stepped up his game. Here's some heroic violence :)

Book3 is my favorite where it got very personal. We learn a lot more about new important plot characters. As a reader, the students seemed a lot closer because the boggart revealed their deepest fears. Lupin's boggart lesson was my favorite part. I would love a chance at the map.

- I have to say my favorite scene in both the books and the movies was Snape's death scene. It's not that I wanted Snape to die necessarily, but the fact that he dies having finally revealed who he was and where his alliance was the entire time, as well as his feelings for Lily... Just leaves a person with some serious feels. It's a huge shift in the entire series and definitely brings light to so much that happened prior that it makes that scene all the more powerful.

It's next to impossible to pick just one favorite moment but one of my favorite moments of the series was in The Half Blood Prince when Harry asked Luna to the Slug Club Party. Even though I'm not as eccentric as Luna, I know what it's like to be the odd person out. I think Luna is very underrated and is a wonderful character. And like her, I know what it's like just to want a friend. I find their friendship really sweet.

I also loved when Molly heard Ron made Prefect and said everyone in the family had been one and one of the twins asked, "what are we, the next door neighbors?"

Oh and anytime Tonks tripped over something. I relate to Tonks more than any other character. She's my favorite

One of my favorite scenes was when Dobby was freed - it still makes my heart hurt. And one of my favorite Harry Potter memories isn't from the books but that night I went to Barnes and Nobles for the midnight release of the book and was surrounded by all these other Potter fans dressed up as their favorite characters. It was the first time I had ever been in a group of fans like that and it felt so good.

My favorite memory for the HP books is when I first encountered them. Apparently my teacher and the school librarian had conspired to hide it from me so that when the monthly Book-It theme was fantasy, I'd have something I hadn't read yet to do a report on.

At the time, there were no other books. It was a great book. I loved Hermione especially (though I didn't learn how to pronounce her name until book 4). I still have a bouncy ball wrapped in gold paper with silver wings somewhere, and a rock painted bright red. That was my entry into the Harry Potter fandom, and I've loved every minute. <3

I love the Weasley twins, everything with them on it is my favorite, but must say my fave is precisely the one on the gif when they leave the school and make fireworks while rebelling against the imbecile Dolores Umbridge. You go Weasleys!!!

Awww this is a cool giveaway. Even though I'm a lot older, Harry Potter was a huge part of my life. I remember my mother was babysitting my daughter cuz I had to work on the release day, and I made a detour to walmart to buy the book. I was so afraid they wouldn't have any, but they had a HUGE box right there at the door. It seriously took me more time to park and walk up there than it did to buy the thing lol. Then when I got to her house, I showed her and we were reading the chapter titles (I always did this like it was some sort of hint) and I remember being like, shit, this just feels ominous. And, yeah, it totally was.

But I think one of my fave scenes is when Harry can finally see the Thestrals, and you find out Luna could always see them. She was so odd, but such a good character and friend.

My other "fave" scenes were each and every death. Spent many, many hours crying reading them.

I would have to say most of my favorite scenes were early on. I liked the part where they were playing life size chess game. The books described the whole part of that scene so much better too.

My favorite moment/scene from both the book and movie will always be Neville killing Nagini! It's too satisfying to see your fav do amazing, lol.

I love it when Harry first steps into Honeydukes in PoA. It was such a nice, normal moment for him to enter a candy shop and I enjoyed the intrigue of him sneaking around in the secret passages.
