So I just came back from an amazing weekend with a great friend (Fantastic Beasts was absolutely awesome) to find out I'm late to celebrate my house for winning the house cup? Oh my. :'D Well done and and I'm so proud of all of you. 💚 And a big thanks to staff as well...this was my first term here and it was truly wonderful. =D

The movie is so worth it, I didn't want it to end and I was making up so many theories with my friend. :'D

I want to see it in the theaters but I have a...severe...problem with people and crowds. I wanted to try it...but I chickened out at the moment.

Oh no. D: That doesn't sound well, and I hope you can overcome this...my friend isn't so good with human crowds as well. Our cinema is right in a shopping centre and therefore, lots of people. ._. But I avoid shopping centres in December as well - I've mostly got all presents together or order them online.
its ok..Ive dealt with it my whole life...I do the best I can :) thats something..LOL..Im glad you enjoyed the movie though!! It looks like its going to be fantastic! and stores are HORRIBLE in December...and the end of November...well worse then normal LOL

Absolutely, it reminded me a bit of the mistake I made when I visited London on Black Friday. :'D
lol everyone claims Britain is "nicer" on Black Friday then America...I personally think everywhere is bad...Ive never personally experienced the violence...but Ive heard about it. :D so stay safe..and I would probably see it too many many times (money and phobias aside! LOL)

- I saw Fantastic Beasts last night and loved it. My bf got me a Chocolate Frog and I've been eating bits of it all day. The card was Gryffindor!
- Puffs Off-Broadway was super charming and very funny. It's about students in the background during the HP years.

This is just a reminder that we are a forum based cult and we aren't going anywhere. Our features, bank sp, and groups will all stay the same after the old cult system is phased out.
Hopefully this will answer some questions for anyone who might have been confused or worried by the announcement. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or reach out to any of the admins.

Evening, everyone! Just wanted to make everyone aware of a new rule change for the Wizarding CWs group . Please note that going forward, please only ping the group once per week per thread. This means if you are selling CWs that you didn't create in one thread or selling CWs you did create that are new to the site in another, you may ping to both threads. However, you should not ping to the same thread twice in one week.
NOTE: this does NOT apply to pawn shop alert pings! You may still ping if a Harry Potter related CW is in the pawn shop.

Good morning!! I have two things I want to announce this morning.
First, I'm sure some of you have noticed that we have not yet started taking applications for clubs for the next term. That's because we have something new we would like to try!
Instead of clubs, we will be trying something we are calling workshops! These will work similarly to clubs, however instead of running the whole term, they will be in modules that will be about 2-3 weeks long with a new topic for each module. For example, the first module may be for Herbology. Once 2-3 weeks passes, that one will be closed and a new one may be opened for Ancient Runes or Divination, etc.
Since this is a new addition for us, at least for the first few modules, they will be led by one of our lovely admins. Once we get a feel for how these will work, we may open them up to be led by members!
Second, I just wanted to take a moment to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Head Girl ! I'm really glad to have her as part of our team, and I hope you all are too!
