"Well it is the Slytherin common room. I would think skulls would be normal in here."

"Dude there are skulls everywhere, I wonder what one shes looking for?" Tate says before munching on a chocoball

"She was trying to make a beeline for it as soon as she got here, so I don't think it's just any skull. I like your hair Tate. Have you had the green in long?"

"Hmmm how strange, she's probably going to get in trouble so oh well. Thank you! I've actually had the green in for a while, but now it fits since I'm a slytherin" Tate giggles

"I wouldn't mind getting in a little trouble. What's your owl's name? It's so cool to be able to see the giant squid like this, I love being underwater."

"Now that you mention it...a little trouble does sound like fun.." Tate said, quickly looking around making sure no one heard. "Oh yeah I almost forgot, This is felix! He looks small, but trust me hes the toughest owl i've ever seen" She says, petting felix. "Do you have a pet or a companion?"

"He's so cute. I love the little Scops owls. I have a rabbit named Biscuit. He's sniffing around somewhere but I'll bring him out if I can find him. What did you think of the professors and classes so far?"

"Awww I can't wait to meet him hahaha! The professors so far are okay. They're just so uptight ya know. I mean I guess I understand why, but like c'mon and chill for a second. Classes are fun, I'm just ready to get into the good stuff like Charms and Hexes haha" Tate says grinning. "What about you? Ya like it so far?"

"I didn't think I'd be so interested in magical creatures but I thought that class was pretty cool. Quidditch is a lot more exciting than Flying class. I'm looking forwards to Potions the most and I really want to get to the greenhouses for Herbology."

"Right! Anything to do with magical creatures I love. I'm not very good at quidditch, but flying is a breeze! I totally forgot about the greenhouse! There's just so much to do around here! But the thing I love the most is wizard watching. I love just watching what people do when the think noone is looking haha-AAH' Tate says, getting cut off by a giant squid bumping into the window

"That is really neat! I hope some other creatures in the lake decide to swim by. I've always been fascinated by mermaids!"

Hello, fellow Slytherins!

Julia walked in and flopped into a chair, finding it a nice change of pace to be viewing the rest of the students in the room as friends, rather than walking around with a subtle sense of competition. She looked enviously at the kingsnake and rabbit, wondering how those got smuggled in, and wondered how her own owl was doing upstairs with all of her friends.

Serena waves hesitantly to the couple students who just walked in. "Hello!"

Thana blinked sleepily, almost dozing in the warm glow of the fire. For a dungeon, this place was seriously cosy. Ash abruptly hopped down from his position alongside her, padding through the students. Weaving between - and even beneath - their feet, the cat purred loudly, making it obvious that he wanted attention right away. He settled for one seated girl - a captive audience - rubbing himself all over her legs. "Ugh, Ash!" Thana called, leaving her seat on the chaise-longue to scoop up her wandering feline companion. "They don't want to be tripped over, and nobody needs to be covered in your fur either, you fuzzy fool.." she scolded him, earning a playful growl as he wriggled in her arms.

Thana ignored him, smiling at apologetically. "Sorry about that. I would say he doesn't understand what he's doing, but he's part-Kneazle, so...he definitely does. He's just really, really cheeky when he wants a tickle." Letting Ash clamber over her shoulder and jump to the ground, Thana extended her hand to the student. "I'm Thana. What's your name?"

Julia smiled at the kitty, and reached out to give him a scratch around the neck. "I don't mind, really. He's adorable. I've never actually seen a Kneazle before."

She offered her hand in return, once it was no longer being occupied by cat-snuggles. "I'm Julia. It's nice to meet you!"
