I don't actually do anything for Halloween IRL -- I live in a really isolated area so there are no trick-or-treaters and I don't go to parties or anything :/

What kinds of costumes are you guys thinking about?

Someone suggested dressing up as the Bellas from Pitch Perfect but we're having trouble finding the scarves. :| Hopefully it'll be something relatively simple because I'm not much of a costume person. It rained here on Halloween last year so we didn't get any trick-or-treaters, I haven't decided whether I'm handing out candy this time or not...

Yeah, I was always terrible at dressing up when I was a kid. People were always like "what are you supposed to be" because I was barely in costume, lmao. Good luck on finding something, though.

You should dress up as much or as little as you like, play Morostide on Subeta, eat Halloween treats, and watch seasonal tv shows and movies. c:

I plan on doing all of those things plus finding a work appropriate costume to do with my colleagues (elementary school), finishing up my Yoko Ono outfit for Halloweekend, and going to a costume party. My friend is going to a masquerade for her bf's bar association dinner and I'm totally green about it.

We're still figuring out who's going to be who, but I think we have settled on the idea for sure - I'll let you know when I know! :P We're thinking about scouting out a fabric store for the scarves for sure, there should hopefully be something that is close enough. Do you have a work halloween costume decided yet? I was doing a placement at an elementary school last year and ended up being the lame student teacher wandering around in a pirate hat...

I really don't know. My friend asked me so I'll have to bounce ideas around with her but I've been lazy about that outfit since I'm still working on my main Yoko costume.

NooooDX I'm remembering vaguely this one Halloween movie we got to see in this one class when I was really young. I really dislike it. It was about this group of kids and they were going trick or treating and then they stop and reflect that one of their friends is dying of cancer and then their taken through the reasons for witches and goblins of Halloween and other stuff of Halloween. In the end I think the kid and or maybe another kid dies thinking they can save him somehow. I know it was supposed to be about loss to kids, but it was still really sad. Now its kind of reminding me of a Charlie Brown episode about Cancer too and poor Linus crying, because he couldn't stay with her for as long as he wanted. He really liked her.
