(oops, fell asleep last night 8D) Aww, that's awesome! I actually worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp and seriously considered becoming a teacher after that - how do you like it?

I went to college for Journalism and Communication Arts and now I work at an advertising agency that focuses only on social media. It's really fun but I'd love to try living somewhere else eventually since I've lived in Wisconsin my whole life. c: Yes, I've seen Portlandia and it's hilarious because Portland actually IS like the show sometimes! But I really love the Pacific northwest - it's beautiful out there!

I looove it! It is really rewarding, and the kids are so cute sometimes. Its really great knowing that I'm making a difference. You can really tell with teaching because you track their growth through assessments, so you can really see their progress. It's great! :)

That is awesome!! That sounds like a really interesting job! I hope you find an opportunity to move out there!! It sounds beautiful, and if its like the show Portlandia at all it sounds like an immensely fun place. Haha

Aww I hope tomorrow is better too! My day has been okay. I worked this morning, and now I'm on my break. I gotta go back in less than an hour. Boo! I'm off tomorrow though, so that will be nice.

Aw, that sounds like a fantastic job! I love when people love their jobs. C: One of things I loved about being a camp counselor too was feeling like I was making a difference and I really loved teaching (even if I was only showing kids how to waterski or something). Seeing the progress the kids make must be really rewarding!

sorry about the bad day. ;_; that's how I feel mooost of the time after work...like a sleepy old lady.

I'm a teaching assistant during the school year (new district yay!) and head counselor at the pre-k camp in my town! I went to school for Journalism too; I feel like my academic/career path is a mishmash of both of yours. 😆

I don't want my camp job and summer to end. All my friends in education feel the same way because that means back to school and our real jobs lol.
