Alright, I don't even know what's going on with this one. It's a rarity 59 item, which has the price today and overall price things, but there are none in the shops or trades. Advice on pricing?

someone's buying up random items to inflate things apparently, there are multiple other items like this. just a couple hundred k most likely.

Yeah I saw another item that isn't new or anything but there's none in shops at all.

My guess is that the item was very undervalued, triggering a mass subetateam buy, leaving the top half of the market very flat, and when the increasing number of people doing quests, it ended up just naturally depleting the shop search results.

I do not think subetateam cares a out r59 items. It really looks like someone is buying up certain items on purpose.

Who would be rich enough, and stupid enough to do that though. Plus, they probably would have repriced immediately, and you could probably see a pattern of one shop with multiple overpriced items in it, on a blank shop search.

I have run a couple of successful (and MANY failed) shop search buyouts, and the math on random r59 items does not add up.

I bought up large blocks of [Item=alexanders sea tails] and as an experiment to see what the markets on random r59s looked like when you could see the entire things. I bought and fraged about 110 of each item, and you can see the complete search now has about 12-15mil worth of items still on search for each.

If this person has cleared multiple searches, they would need to plan on selling like 30 of each item at 500K, under a lot of competition, as you can see from the search of

So if someone is trying to manipulate the market, they are going to get crushed. You can't even really manipulate the price of r99s, let alone r59s. I think it is much more likely that something predisposed these markets to being shallower than usuall (a subetateam buyout or someone fragging since those tiles came out in the crystal shop), and then the quest shop depleted the remainder of the market.

It's more likely to me that someone bought up all of them previously than for subetateam to bother with an r59 item. Supply may have been low to begin with from the influx of people questing, and they all may have been priced pretty low.

I had a couple cheap items bought by the subeta team the day before the announcement thats the main reason I suggested it. Mostly just wanted to point out that it seemed unlikely to be manipulation.
