I am a bit uncertain/confused about how this will work IF the goal will be reached and the 500k quests will be completed. I'll try to explain: I have now 11 pets. I got one pet slot from the Loyalty Pet Slot Totem and five further when I had activated a GA. That means when I go to my pet overview it tells me: You are using 11 of your 6 pet slots.

How does it work now with the extra pet slot from this quest? Does it then for me just change to You are using 11 of your 7 pet slots? Or do I have to get another GA activated? Does it count up automatically or will we get a Loyalty Pet Slot Totem to redeem whenever we want? I would love to participate and will do it anyways. I apologize if it was already asked or if it is just a silly question XD

As far as I know, it'll say you are using 11 of your 7 pet slots and if you use a GA, you'll be able to get another pet since it'll be 11/12 slots

I'm in a similar situation. I have 8/10 pet slots currently filled, but my GA runs out before the event ends so I'll have 8/5 at the end of the week. Am I out of luck if I don't activate another GA since I don't have more than 10 pets now, or will I still be able to theoretically get 11 pets the next time I activate a GA?

maybe you have thoughts on the matter?

you should be able to get 11 pets when you activate your next GA, they wouldn't design a sitewide event that only affects GA users without warning ahead of time. your slots will just say 8/6 and then go to 8/11 when GA activates I would think. someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I think it should work o-o

which staff user is here the right one to answer our questions? maybe pinging them would help to get an answer. As all we could do is just guessing I fear :( I personally would prefer getting an item I could redeem when I have a GA, otherwise it would be a bit unfair IMO.

How is it unfair? It won't expire or anything.

dunno, if the only effect of my efforts would be to have my pet slots number increased from 11 of 6 to 11 of 7 - that would not change anything. Nevertheless I would love to know how it will be handled in the end from a staff member.

Well if you got a GA afterwards, you'd be at 11/12 so you can use up the slot.

seems like there is no other chance, than buying 1 week to participate properly, and 1 week to redeem the pet slot... Had not planned to spend that much on GAs...

The thing is, you would have access to the slot if you had less than 6 pets. Since you're already using at least some of the 5 GA slots, you'll need to wait for a GA to use your free slot from the event. That's how all pet slots work [edit] I don't understand why you need to buy a GA to "participate properly" ? You'll get the pet slot regardless as long as we hit 500k; just wait a day or two to activate your GA so it'll still be active when you get your pet slot if you're already planning to fill it right away.

You can definitely just get away with a week GA once you get the participation prize, you don't need a ga to participate. We will most likely reach the 500k whether you do extra quests on a GA or not. But this really isn't a big deal. It's free and would normally cost 2k csc. You don't need fo fill the pet slot asap so you can wait and fill it whenever you get a GA at any point in the future

I know that I don't NEED a GA to participate. But I "need" one for autopricing the higher amount of iteams I'd get from a higher amount of quests I would do, as I would not have so much spare time to price everything per hand then.

Like I said, just wait a day or two to activate it since you seem to have plans to fill your new pet slot immediately anyway c: That way you can autoprice for most of the week + do your extra quests but you should still have time to fill your pet slot unless there's a weird delay in getting them awarded

possible, yes. However, it would give me a hard time to come up with a new concept for another pet to avoid later name changes or another GA. I know nobodies problem but mine, I'm just thinking all possibility. I am not the one who creates random pets, all of mine do have a history/ concept/background... I will think about something. There is no link. It will be rewarded as part of the participation prize at the end of the Quest-A-Thon... So probably sometime Friday July 24th.

All you have to do is do quests (I think even a single quest will count as participating but I am doing several more just to be safe LOL) sometime before Thursday July 23 at 11:59pm.

Bear in mind, not all quest are counted. You have to complete quest(s) from the following: Carl, Cinthia, Cursed, Library, Maleria, Quentin, Saggitarius, Wizard, Sarah, and/or Pete
