It doesn't give you anything for free, you still have to pay, but it changes shops each day and you can buy at various prices, depending on the shop, and as far as I am aware there is no limit to what you can buy. You can buy or try again, but you won't know what it is until you buy.

The pricing is honestly not an issue nine times out of ten, but when it changes to All That Glitters or the Apothecary, it is very expensive, and I wouldn't call it worth it.

I'm... not into this. It appears to be All That Glitters as the secondary item (today? I don't know if it switches daily) and I only found a few items under 100k. I wasn't big on doing Library Quests anyway because books are so hit and miss in terms of affordability, but this is a real deterrent to bothering to try and do them every day. I haven't even been checking the actual book price, just the additional item, because there's no point in finding out that the book is 100k when the ATG item is already making the quest pointless.

So, All That Glitters and Apocalyptic Apothecary need to be removed from the Mystery Box rotation if you want this to work. Out of my 15 Library quests, I had to quit 14 of them as they all would have cost me over 100,000 sP. One ATG item was priced at 10 million... ridiculous. Another one couldn't even be found in any shops. The one quest I did complete was totally not worth it...

I suppose in the future, I just either won't do the Library quests or Keith should up Alexander's prizes to be Saggi equivalent when ATG or AA is chosen from the Mystery Box.

And the icing on this horrible, horrible cake is that I also am unable to complete my Shinwa quests because she asked me to do a second Library quest. Sorry Shinwa... Love ya, but not that much.

I couldnt do my shinwa quest today because she asked for library quest 3 times in a row.. 3rd time I couldnt get a quest worth less then 100k infact most were over 150k combined minimum.

I'm not sure why the Mystery Box was chosen for the second item when there was a thread right here with some really great ideas. Unless it was just for experimental purposes, like seeing what shops worked best?

I don't mind the Mystery Box as an intermediate step to figure out something better, but as a permanent addition? I just don't know if it's going to work. Who knows, it might...guess the only way to know for sure is to wait and see.

No changes. I still had to quit 6 quests even with him asking for Minion's Market, and out of the nine I finished, I only got ONE super rare. To top it off, he's weekend quest and I got no retired books from him. NONE.

Alright, today was much, much better with Minions Market being the 2nd item shop. There are some "Normal" rarity books that are far too expensive still. I'm hoping that books like "Feli Vanity" will come down some more.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. The library quest only asks me for books now. I must say I like it better that way though.

- I don't know what the deal is, but book prices are starting to creep back up again. For example, Advanced Seashell Collecting is up to 188k, whereas a week ago or so, it was at least 100k less than that.

Now he's asking for two books? prices are already high on books, not sure this is a good thing.

This is old and he is only asking for one book still.
